Not sure if you've ever done a clip on rifle/musket cleaning but that would interest me. Maybe its something everyone knows already but have never fired any black powder weapons myself.

We are just waiting until we can move again in the current environment. We do have an episode prepped on how to clean the musket as suggested by the ordinance manual.

Are there any plans for videos on the Potsdam or Enfield in the future?

Still need to do one for the garibaldi rifle and the 1842 series French/Belgian 72 cal muskets

Given how many living historians use Enfields, I'm rather shocked and disappointed that no one makes a good 1855 Enfield private's tool. I would have hoped that they could be reproduced.

How common was the Confederate tool issued or found outside of the Virginia Theater of the war?

Great question. I've seen the T-handles seemingly dug mostly out East. It would really take an effort by diggers to document their use elsewhere and let the collectors/historiaians know more.
