The defendent knocked it out of the park defending his case. The other guy had absolutely no evidence to support his case. Was an easy, clear decision for judge Milan. Enjoyed this.
I actually see what the defendant means. He likes his jackets to be an inch or two longer to cover his crotch. That's him. If someone doesn't feel comfortable in how the clothing fits, they will never be happy with it. Also, the blue jacket was a bit too small for him.
I was impressed at the air of intelligence the defendant had. Very articulate and convincing. I would assume he deals with clients regularly in his field.
Depreciating them by 50%? He probably never wore the suits prior to bringing them to the tailor. My guy you should’ve went on your bank statements and found how much you spent.
More likely than not he purchased them at a discount and was listing retail prices for the suites. I have owned a couple "$1,500" suits from hickey- freeman, (it's a local business in my hometown of Rochester, NY) but I actually paid significantly less, more than 60% off. He definitely had some sort of receipt, I don't buy that he doesn't.
@@campturtle absolutely. There’s so many places you can get “name brand” clothing for a cheaper price. Think of places like Nordstrom rack. I could easily tell someone I paid full price for a piece when I really bought it a season later for half price and then sue and say but look the website showed this. He also can get some of the bad tailoring repaired and still get use out of the suits. So the items aren’t a total loss. If they were torn, tattered and unwearable then yeah of course they’d have to pay whatever the judge determined. And man they did make him look bad haha
I don't know what the judge's mood may have been that day; but if you are referring to how she put the defendant in his place; he had it coming. She had to interrupt him a couple of times; because he didn't know when to stop talking. Then, we she asked him to provide receipts; he did everything that he could to go around that; instead of just stating the he didn't have any to provide. That alone is annoying; and also raises a red flag. I totally understand his frustration; and I am glad that he won; but he could have calmed down enough to allow the judge to do her job without having to shut him down.
How are you going to depreciate the value of a brand new suit? Furthermore, the website shows the value of the suit. As a man who loves tailored suits the judge is completely wrong on the value.
I mean if he paid the amount that you actual paid he shouldvebrought receipts. The suits couldve been purchased wholesale, for all we know. He brought in print outs from a website lol.
Happy the verdict went to the defendant. You could see exactly what his grievances were and I totally agreed. Really wished he had the receipts so he could’ve been compensated fully. Since watching these cases I’ve become more mindful of holding on to information or receipts. Just certain items hold value and it’s good for multiple reasons. Law suits, burglary or natural disasters. You never know.
Last time I went to get a suit tailored it was off the rack and the gentleman selling me the suit asked me if I was going to lose weight I told him if anything I’ll probably gain weight so make room for me! Keepin it real over here! 😂😅🤠🕺🏼🤷🏻♂️
How would someone have the nerve to sue and you did that poor of a job? Had they left it alone they wouldn't of owed more than likely! Those suits made him look horrible 😕
@ 10:59 - 11:02 yikes judge that was uncalled for😯😳. Happy the Defendant got some of his money back🙌🏾 And im not sure why the Plaintiff was smirking literally all the way through that case🤨
Perhaps. I was suprised when she angrily said "do you have an off button" to the guy. He was not interrupting or overspeaking. He was respectful, articulate and presented his case extremely well.
Glad the defendant won his case, but damn could he get out what he wanted to say?!!! Man couldn’t even plead his case. I get that the material is sent in prior to the case for the judge to review, but sheesh 🙄 at least let him say it. It might actually make sense!
I hate guys like the plaintiff. They market themselves as worthy of high fees and serving upscale clients than after paying their high fees they can't complete the job to your expectations or do it wrong altogether. I get my suits and some shirts tailored and it has been so hard to find someone good. You walk in some of these places and they give you champagne and take measurements and then when the clothes come back it looks like a patch job. The pants were horrific in this case.
The grey suit, the pants look short and to narrow. The jacket looks short and a little more tight. The blue looks a bit tight and the sleeves are not the same length. They are ruined unless there is an inseam and can be let out and adjusted. Defendant has great proof, and good for him on the win.
People who don't bring receipts are shady. Thats why she was pissy. Anyone who spends that much on a suit could get a receipt from the store. There is an incredibly high mark-up on clothes. By the time that suit was discontinued it could be 80% off.
I’ve seen several of these cases about tailoring, or seamstress work. I don’t understand the problem why the garments aren’t made properly. I’m not a professional, and I could do it.
Its fairly easy to see that the blue jacket is way off the mark, the grey pants are pulling and puckering, and the grey jacket is too boxy. Having said that, where are the receipts? I found JM kind of cranky, I think the defendant was just irritating the crap out of her. Geez Douglas has some squeaky shoes!
Even Doug said they looked terrible lool. I mean, he came out there looking like a whole leprechaun. And that weirdo plaintiff and whatever the fk he was saying talking about saying they looked fine outside at doug, but in the case was talking about everything he could fix, and the inch off the jacket that he couldn't fix...
The defendent knocked it out of the park defending his case. The other guy had absolutely no evidence to support his case. Was an easy, clear decision for judge Milan. Enjoyed this.
"Millennial Narrow" --- great expression!
Yes
Unless you were young in the 60s and 70s, I think you might have a different memory of tight, narrow men's clothing. XD
I actually see what the defendant means. He likes his jackets to be an inch or two longer to cover his crotch. That's him. If someone doesn't feel comfortable in how the clothing fits, they will never be happy with it. Also, the blue jacket was a bit too small for him.
Exactly!
I absolutely love these court shows! Imma binge watch these too!
Right I feel like I’ve been missing out all this time lol !
I was impressed at the air of intelligence the defendant had. Very articulate and convincing. I would assume he deals with clients regularly in his field.
"I'll admit to you they looked terrible, really didn't look good at all" -Doug 🤣🤣
🤣
She was being REAL nice to the plaintiff because that looked awful! I’m always worried about taking my stuff in for alterations for this very case...
Just do your research! Its well worth it to have a well fitted suit!
Depreciating them by 50%? He probably never wore the suits prior to bringing them to the tailor. My guy you should’ve went on your bank statements and found how much you spent.

that poor guy looks like goof ball with those jackets on! lol! Give the man his money back!!!
He looks like he is growing out of his clothes. Omg. It looks so uncomfortable
Glad he won this case, it was OBVIOUS the suits were poorly done. Could ANYONE understand what the hell the guy was saying at the end???
@@Fakecourt I LITERALLY could not make out ONE word he said 2 Doug at the end..
Lol I was just telling my man that I would get so annoyed with hearing him talk in person…😜😜
nope not a word😂
He is slurring..speaking in cursive....🤣🤣🤣
Damn judge he doesn't like the way the shit fits,!!🤷🏿♀️
That is his fault though LoL
exactly and that’s all that matters. If HE doesn’t like it that’s all that counts
@@VirgoCali89 how? He told them right away said no I don't like the fit
The suits look bad, especially the pants. I get it.
Absolutely agree! The judge must be blind (or doesn’t give a crap!).
@@elainevankat5353 Thank you!!!
Yes!
They don’t look bad, however, cut and fit are personal choice/taste
His suit absolutely looked woohoo much better than those they screwed up!!
The suit he showed up in fit him perfectly.
This episode is hilarious 😆 Doug always savage “I admit to you, this suits look horrible” 😂😂
The suits look terrible! It’s so obvious the suits are too tight fitting.... The judge doesn’t even see it! (she’s crazy).
Yes!
Nah, they look good. His body type won't look ideal in any suit.
@@positivelastaction3957 A custom fit/tailored suit.... should always look good (on any body type). That’s the entire point!
@@positivelastaction3957 Who told you that? Abercrombie and Fitch?
Agreed! I was like, "ARE YOU BLIND??!"
That blue jacket was clearly not fitting right.
Whew she was not in a great mood that day
Defendant did a good job proving his
Case. 1st case to watch for the
New Year.
Time 9:06PM Tues 1/5/21
She’s mean sometimes.

It's been tailored 🙄
I mean if he paid the amount that you actual paid he shouldvebrought receipts. The suits couldve been purchased wholesale, for all we know. He brought in print outs from a website lol.
Every man should have at least one tailored suit.
💯
Absolutely! But NOT like these!! 😂😂
Agreed
Not by this guy 😆
First world thoughts.
I think he should’ve gotten the whole amount on the suits that 50% off wasn’t fair. Come on judge
YES !! Agreed !
When he put the suits on I was like honey bunches of oats😅they gathered the seams 🧵
Happy the verdict went to the defendant. You could see exactly what his grievances were and I totally agreed. Really wished he had the receipts so he could’ve been compensated fully. Smart move on the tailor’s part, sending the one guy who can barely speak to court
Who knows? Maybe he was the most well spoken of the lot...😆
Those suits were little a.s ... lol....... I was waiting for him to say those gray pants were too short lol
HOW?! could you not bring the tailors as witnesses?!
Last time I went to get a suit tailored it was off the rack and the gentleman selling me the suit asked me if I was going to lose weight I told him if anything I’ll probably gain weight so make room for me! Keepin it real over here! 😂😅🤠🕺🏼🤷🏻♂️
That was a horrible job..he looked like a dressed up smurf in that blue jacket 😂😂😂
How would someone have the nerve to sue and you did that poor of a job? Had they left it alone they wouldn't of owed more than likely! Those suits made him look horrible 😕
The defendant was a bit of a jerk, but he's absolutely right. $1,600 for three brand high end new suits is peanuts, and that tailoring was abominable.
Glad to see so many spot-on comments here re: those miss-fitting suits!!!
@ 10:59 - 11:02 yikes judge that was uncalled for😯😳. Happy the Defendant got some of his money back🙌🏾 And im not sure why the Plaintiff was smirking literally all the way through that case🤨

Guess judge was having a bad day.
Yes
Perhaps. I was suprised when she angrily said "do you have an off button" to the guy. He was not interrupting or overspeaking. He was respectful, articulate and presented his case extremely well.
The defendant was on point, horrible job they did they probably out on bankruptcy by now.
I agree w/ the defendant! I see the difference and if you have expensive suits and need them tailored you want it done right!
If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.
Glad the defendant won his case, but damn could he get out what he wanted to say?!!! Man couldn’t even plead his case. I get that the material is sent in prior to the case for the judge to review, but sheesh 🙄 at least let him say it. It might actually make sense!
The plaintiff said we closed some stores because we weren’t making business lol gee I WONDER WHY?
They ruined his clothes. The end.
Absolutely agree!
Those grey pants were so wrong 😂
Harvey though! Funniest joke I've ever heard him say on this one. "Are you married to her? Not anymore! Haha" OMG Definitely laughed hard.
"Hold on we'll give you instructions and put you in a private room an blah blah blah." - Judge 🤣🤣🤣
I'm surprised he was able to get the money and keep the suits. And Doug was at his shadiest 😂😂
The Plaintiff is in the wrong profession. He should be an undertaker.
Doug really hated those suits and had to say it. He’s so funny
I hate guys like the plaintiff. They market themselves as worthy of high fees and serving upscale clients than after paying their high fees they can't complete the job to your expectations or do it wrong altogether.

Doug: I never heard you admit whether the suits fit or not…
Plaintiff: Hehehe mi Hoy Minoy
I HOLLEREEDD!!! 😂😂
YOU BETTER STAAAAAHP 💀💀💀💀
I do love a man in a nice suit
Those suits looked wrong, completely wrong. Glad he won his case. Not impressed with the company at all.
Groucy judge today
Agree! She’s a witch today!
The blue suit is ill fitting especially, one side of the suit is longer than the other. They cheapened the look of his suits.
I like how Harvey Asked all the big guys about the gaining weight thing outside lol.....Shade lololo
I bought a jacket with one arm longer than the other.
It was odd, I didn't notice at the store!
Those suits look great!
The blue jacket would look really nice if the sleeves was correct
The suits are 1600 each. That’s ridiculous and without being tailored, I’m confident they are new.
She's our lady! Go Judge Marilyn!
She was nasty to him for no reason.
The plaintiff is crazy. He makes no sense... How can he own a business? 😬
I've seen that defendant on TV before.
The defendant should have gotten more for the suits. They were brand new!
Judge is tripping or has horrible taste in fashion, those suits look awful and you can definitely tell the difference.
Those suits were obviously tailored by Denise Huxtable....they're Gordon Gartrell people 🙄.
The grey suit, the pants look short and to narrow. The jacket looks short and a little more tight. The blue looks a bit tight and the sleeves are not the same length. They are ruined unless there is an inseam and can be let out and adjusted. Defendant has great proof, and good for him on the win.
Fits Like a 🧤!!! 😂🤣😂
“Please take the jacket off, put your jacket on” judge milian- but leave the pants on, the audience must be eating this joke up 🤣
The old man needs to retire
Man what’s up with the judge. She snapped at the guy for no reason. She drives me crazy sometimes. mood swings? They messed up his suits really bad.

What happened to the old fella at the end ??
The suits they wore into the courtroom looked no better than the suits in question.
This case was ridiculous
If the jacket don’t fit, you must equit
Oh baby, it's judge Milan
He was beautiful articulated everything he needed to say well. The judge was a whole lot less. Jealous she couldn't find any fault in him..
These expensive Taylored suits are his workwear?
Receipts for taxes?
Why would he bring in three suits if he only wanted one altered? That makes no sense at all.
The plaintiff is so drunk. Cannot understand a word he was trying to say!
if he paid for the suit to be bespoke, then thats what he paid for. Period
to be fair, the grey and blue jackets looked absurd
the guy with green plaid in the audience tho? 😍
11:42 I'm so sorry.. he's a sweetheart.. what is he saying 🤣🤣
I’ve seen several of these cases about tailoring, or seamstress work. I don’t understand the problem why the garments aren’t made properly. I’m not a professional, and I could do it.
That blue jacket is tight and short. I understand his issues.
The blue jacket does look tight
Damn I was not expecting the suit to be this bad
A day in the life of Douglas! Lol
That blue jacket is sharp !
Shoul'da gone to JC Penneys!
THE PANTS 😂😂😂
God bless everyone on here❤🐦
You too!
Upset the defendant doesn't have is new suit paperwork, which would entitle him to full compensation.
Its fairly easy to see that the blue jacket is way off the mark, the grey pants are pulling and puckering, and the grey jacket is too boxy.

Geez Douglas has some squeaky shoes!
Lol the pants and the one long arm
Lmao at this fitting exercise in the middle of a courtroom
That was such a pretty blue
that plaintiff looks like a goofy mad scientist! lol
My millennial son would like those pants!

A whole leprechaun 😂
I expected the plaintiff to be able to keep the suits. Oh well; there I go thinking again.
Good Lord the pants I get the Millennial Narrow comment
1 is literally longer then the other sleevewise
The plaintiff is so creepy.... sooooo creepeeeee
The tailored pants were a joke and that navy jacket was too small for him.
