Wonderful to see Azarenka playing so well on grass. At 34, she overpowered the much younger Sakkari in two beautiful straight sets. Another Top 10 win to her already illustrious and accomplished career. Way to go girl!

Her "illustrious" victory in the Aussie Open where she faked all manner of injury (because she needed a mental health break) is a serious stain on her legacy.

Never underestimate the players that beat Serena in her peak. Azarenka should have more that 2 slams but she is still high caliber regardless of how many slams

@@matthewwilliams3827 swiatek is a one trick pony who’s dominating a weak era. Barty left and gave it to her as a gift. She benefited from the top 4 players leaving the game. Barty, Osaka, Andreescu and Halep left at the perfect time for her to start winning
that’s what i always say. Azarenka should’ve a even more greater career, coz her level is not the same as general top 10 players. She showed her level in 2012,13,16. I really missed the Serena, Vika and Masha era, they three were over 10000 points at the same time which was insane, their consistency, mental strength, ability and game were just different from the players nowadays

Maria sakkari has got into mental jinx and its not letting her play to her potential. She better adds a mental coach to her team. Otherwise sakkari has got all the guns required .

Sakkari being almost constantly in the Top 10 is the best indicator that ranking might be broken or field outside Top 5 is really very bad

What a gorgeous performance from Azarenka. Despite advancing age, she knows how to lead the movement and processes. It is the largest trait and personal aspect of the professional Belarusian tennis player. As to Sakkari, she is completely an overrated player with her quality, game style and agility.
Sakkari is in danger of becoming another Paula Badosa if she can't overhaul the play tactics in her game. She has normally moved well and hit the ball well but that would be all for naught if she still doesn't have a clue to get the best out of it like in this match.
Some of these “weak era” comments are laughable, are we looking at the same list of 1st round matchups in a 500?
These losses must be really testing SAKKARI's mental game and I feel sorry for her. It must be tough to lose in early rounds. I hope she can keep her head up and continue working hard. She is one of the fittest women on the pro-tour but can't capitalize on her fitness. Who is her coach?

She didn't have a good season last year aside from reaching Semi AO and 4R Wimbledon. Most tournaments, she would only get to 2R or 3R. It's been way better this year.
