I'd like the same thing! I'm so used to playing w/o a bass player that its hard to find a good balance now that I am playing with one. Like staying out of their range. The chord of Fminadd2/Ab that you used belongs to the key of C minor which is the homonymous key of C major, not the minor relative :) The relative mode should share the same key signature, like the key of A minor does with the key of C major :)
Thanks so much my bro! - Yessir, we made C the relative minor (although we're in C Major - I quickly mentioned shifting up a minor third to Eb Major)... C minor is the relative minor of Eb Major... Hence the Eb Major scale... We went UP a minor 3rd... which becomes modal...
