More like the Leo a1a1 shouldn't be 9.0... all other nations at this tier already have better apfsds, laser rangefinder, thermals... The tam is good where it is, you can literally pen it with a .50 cal from the sides...since it's a marder chassis

this is another glaring example of a pay to win tank...a light tank that punches as hard as an MBT and is more survivable than any heavy tank and allmost all mbt's at it's BR. it's engine can seemingly stop anything, the sides have the "no armor best armor" thing going on where most of the time you dont get any crit and the turret, other than being small and hard to hit somehow seems to fragment very little and more often than not the player in this broken vehicle has more than enough time to shoot back at you (probably one-shoting you irregardless of what tank you're using). and that's just the broken armor model...then you consider it also has speed and manuverability and you realise this is probably the best tank in the german tech tree in that entire br range
A good tank for sure but nowhere near the madness of wolfpacks, vidar, 2s38, pt-76-57,turm III or XM-1. It just has laser+thermals+apfsds, but can get penned by any machine gun form .50 cal from the sides, isn't that fast for a light tank. It's only great for the german lineup since at this BR range all their tank sucks except SPAAS and maybe tank destroyers. The rest is ass.
@@johncee853 I mean the T55 also don't got that great armor in my opinion but hiding the weak spots with bushes is very effective (good players would still know where to shoot) but both so TAM and T55 got great firepower

mf, the TAM2IP is a special version of the TAM to counter ATGM/HEATFS
That "magic" is called composite armor.
The TAM should get spanish voice lines.
