christianity is gnosticism masquerading as a universalist religion, as opposed to genuine universality like buddhism or hinduism are for example.
anyway, its a continuation of greco roman cutlure, where saturn kronos (satanas/satan, the deva EL) is god, and jupiter zeus is the christ, born of mary (mother nature) and god. he then overcomes his mother and father to take the top spot.
same story, but warped, because mary is denied deity status, and jupiter zeus (jesus) is made one of the trinity of god. christ is supposed to be a status beyond god, not one of the trinity. christ is a quaternity, represented by the cross. in fact a lot of universalist religions are represented by a cross, like naziism, communism, the red cross charity, even the zoroastrian eagle (?)
christianity needs reforming until it represents the genuine universalist religon that used to exist before, because that is truth
