- After much request, this video is dedicated to my leather battle jacket. I love the crust punk and thrash look, so I chose leather.

This was like a airplane safety video
The safety part made me laugh, because it reminded me of the day that our bonfire started spreading into the dry grass and I had to use my heavy horsehide jacket to beat it out before the fire reached the shed. LOL
Perhaps they could add to the safety announcement:-
"In event of fire, will the guy in seat xxxx Remove his jacket and use it to smother the flames". LMAO.

This jacket is a perfect example of an awesome yet simplistic patch layout.
"No battle vest can be complete without the misfits" I like that... i know a few metalheads and even myself who have a misfits patch who don't really listen to them or listen to them anymore, but it's true, it just feels right to have misfits patch on your vestt
I don't mean to be 'that' guy, but wearing a patch on your vest of a band you don't listen to technically makes you a poser.
@@TheCryptCrawler Wearing a patch for a band you don't listen to is showing tribute to that band. You may not listen to the misfits, however it only makes sense to tribute that band on your vest.
I dunno, I feel like the metal equivalent is Death or Slayer. I'll never have a patch for a band I don't listen to.
Wouldn't that mean that all the pop celebrities that wear Slayer, Metallica and other Metal merch, as showing tribute to them too ?
I'm more of a metal head than a punk, but first and foremost I am a music lover who loves good music. That being said, Misfits is one of my favorite bands ever. On my leather jacket, I only have 4 pins and they are all Misfits, lmao.

Soumadip Choudhury It more than likely stems from a breathing problem such as asthma or chronic bronchidus.You can tell this sudden voice change comes from a mix of lack of oxygen and the strain of the radio host-esque voice he puts on from how the pitch shifts drastically lower rather than higher or cracking. Whenever losing air the human vocal chords turn to a deeper pitch as the oxygen runs out, so sense he has such a small quantity of air his voice changes deeper much more quickly.

I bought my denim vest from AYP. I bought my patches from Metal devastation.
I just ordered a black denim vest from AYP. Great Quality! Now to start filling it with patches!
Mad respect if you can sew a patch over a pocket and have it still be useable.
there are special needles for leather with a triangular tip so the structure of the leather is not compromised

I know that denim jackets, specifically cutoff sleeveless denim jackets have made a bit of a resurgence in the Metal, Hardcore, and Punk scene within the last several years. This is something that was extremely common place back in the 80s and early 90’s which is all the rave now. With that being said I for one was always more interested in building my own English style long sleeve biker jacket, like the one in your video. I purchased my biker jacket all the way back in the mid 90s during my freshman year of high school. Like you mentioned before, no jacket is complete with out the obligatory Misfits pin which mine happens to be the Misfits Fiend Club pin. I have a Motörhead pin, Slayer, Social Distortion pin and a Kreator pin. For my Patches I have , Motörhead, Running Wild, Sodom, The CroMags, Samhain, The Hellacopters, Testament, Type O Negative, Nuclear Assault, Obituary, and of course an obligatory Maltese Cross (Iron Cross) patch. I also wanted to point out that when I was in high school I kept a pretty thick chain that was attached to my jacket by the top snap on leather piece that is found on both sides of an English Biker Jacket. I was always ready to throw down and fight when ever I had too. The best part about my battle jacket is that I still fit into it perfectly after all these years and I never gave up the Metal!!💪🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

My leather is also from ayp, I didn't have the patience to see anything on to it so I just used paint as well as a ton of studs and spikes with some pins
Dude, I LOVE AYP! I didn't know you were so close to me! I live about an hour from Lancaster, in Northern Maryland. I get a lot of my patches there, and every time I go I pick up a Black Sabbath shirt. Its sort of a ritual of mine I guess.

I feel compelled to tell you that....today I was at a new years eve festival and saw someone wearing a misfits shirt!! I talked to him but I didn't talk for long due to something called a "mom's schedule". I told him I never listened to them but a metal channel likes them and I now know they are punk rock not metal. That was fun, it was my first meeting with another metalhead (maybe). I'm of to report to Eddie now.

thats not really crust punk Crusties ussualy wear denim due to the fact most crusties are borderline homeless, same with street punk, on a side note sweet jacket some tree spikes would look dope on those shoulders.

First off Sweet fuckin battle jacket! 2nd what size is it? I have a height and build similar to yours and when I buy Eisenhower style work jackets I go XL which seems big till after I wash it a few times. For leather I don't want it to be baggy but not too snug. Exactly how yours fits.

Amazon but I wouldn't reccomend it as it is expensive. Go to a thrift store if you have one or a good will. May your local pawn shop will have one.

Must’ve been a real bitch sewing onto leather. I’ll stick with denim. It’s just easier. Plus you can always remove patches from denim. With leather you have to use a thick needle that punctures huge holes in the fabric.

I can't remember the measurements. The jackets all have different sizes, maybe it would be a good idea to call the store and ask before buying, they're good at answering questions like that
