I mean it shouldn't be hard in the first place ... faithfulness is the most important aspect of a committed relationship,it should be systematic, we don't make promises to not betray someone ..,it's how it should BE, once you chose that person , it means that you felt spiritually connected to them , and if you feel that it's not working anymore, you communicate because relationships are not easy and the two sides need to compromise a lot or simply you decide to leave... instead of being like y don't fulffil my desires bla bla so I decided to cheat

They could legit just have a conversation on having an open marriage, and have the movie explore the ins and outs of it. The both spouses cheat storyline is kind of hard to make interesting now a days.
Edit: I watched it and it was much better than I thought it would be. It was less "I'm going to run around and cheat because temptation" which was the vibe I got from the trailer. It was more "our marriage or love for each other was weak to begin with, is it worth saving or better to look for us to look for something else." Doesn't sound too different if you really think about it, but if you have nothing better to do a Friday night its not the worst thing to watch.
Also for anyone looking for what I described in my original comment someone (Katie cook) in the replies recommended "Newness" which explores an open relationship.

If you watch the entire series you'll realize that their intention was most definitely NOT to make infidelity look sexy. Probably the exact opposite. It's a story about a troubled marriage, a flawed couple. I find it very realistic and a depiction of modern relationships. It kind of reminds me of the movie "Marriage Story". I enjoyed it very much.

A happy marriage is tested when both spouses become tempted by other desires.We're definitely looking forward to seeing how the show's central couple weathers this storm and what happens if the relationship doesn't survive. I doubt this is the best series to watch on Valentines Day with a loved one, but its undoubtedly a brilliant drama about a faltering marriage.
