I honestly cannot understand why anyone would dislike this video. Unlike, say, a gmod video or something, a video that is simply a song from a game is either some stupid fake screamer video or it's just the song as mentioned in the title. Why would anyone look up "Bastion Soundtrack Slinger's Song", find a video of Slinger's Song, and then decide they didn't get what they were looking for or that this video, which contains exactly what they were looking for in the first place.
Yeah despite being "the kid" if you finish his dream you learn that he's basically a veteran soldier with a lot of experience. I liked the pike and pistols.
Army Carbine and Musket for me. Upgraded of course. Weapons that are good for the beginning is the first pistols you get (forget what they are called), and the war machete.
Pike + Calamity cannon. I like to keep my distance because with all gods invoked, even the slightest touch of a Ura can and will kill you... Plus the calamity cannon is so OP the only things that will stop it is armored units and close range, that's when I grab my pike
Machete and pistols for me. Fast, medium-ranged appropriate, and powerful. Perfect combination. Up until you get the Calamity Cannon, that is. Then it's just a matter of preference.
If only I had a horse... I have cowboy boots, cowboy hat, long jeans, awesome long sleve shirt, Winchester 30-30 lever action & a S&W 38spl revolver. I'd ride my horse in the middle of the road nice and slow with a car following me playing this song on loop. Then I'd go to the local police station and sit in an epic pose right infront of the door as the cops look at me thinking I'm awesome & that I may be under the influence of narcotics... yea.
Uncle Smoke It might not be exactly the same, but if you look for "psychedelic rock" or "stoner rock", you are on a good track, I suppose. For example, try out "I'm the Mountain" by Stoned Jesus. Or listen to El Santo Nada, for example "Gallinas y Lagartos"; if you like Slinger's Song, you will like that one too, I think... There are dozens of similar bands; I hope I could help you...?
It's a bluesy style of music. I can never really find this exact style in it though, since not many songs are made to sound like this. Joe Bonamassa (Dirt In My Pocket) or Walter Trout (Never Knew You Well) would probably be a couple people you'd like.
