How to Fix You Will Need a New App to Open This Exe File
Bạn không mở được ứng dụng, ứng dụng có file đuôi .exe và hiện thông báo lỗi "You'll need a new app to open this.exe file" in Windows 10 or Windows 11?
Bạn đừng lo, hãy làm theo 2 cách dưới đây bạn sẽ mở lại bình thường, không cần cài lại windows
Cách 1: Kích chuột phải vào Nút start - Windows PowerShell(Admin) hay còn gọi là (terminal admin) - copy dòng lệnh dưới đây Paste vào
Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Paste dòng lệnh vào và bấm Enter. Chấp nhận lỗi và để cho chạy hết dòng lệnh.
Sau đó khởi động lại máy tính là hoàn thành
Cách 2: Bấm vào nút Start và gõ Registry Editor - kích chuột phải vào và bấm run as administrator. Bấm Yes để chạy Registry Editor!
Bước 1: Chọn thẻ như dưới đây
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.exe
Mở phím Default trên cửa sổ bên phải. Đảm bảo giá trị là "exefile" không có dấu ngoặc kép.

Nếu không bạn phải nhập cho đúng tên "exefile" không có dấu ngoặc kép.
Bước 2: Tiếp tục vào thẻ như ở dưới
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile
Vào mở phím Default trên cửa sổ bên phải. Đảm bảo giá trị là "Application" không có dấu ngoặc kép.

Bước 3:Bạn tìm tới thẻ như ở dưới
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\exefile\shell\open\command
và mở thẻ Default bên bên phải cửa sổ. Mặc định giá trị của nó là ""%1" %*" không có dấu ngoặc kép.
"%1" %* . Nếu nó có dòng C://windows..... gì đó thì xóa nó đi
Bạn bấm vào file chọn Exit để lưu file. Khởi động lại hệ thống của bạn để áp dụng các thay đổi.
Sự cố sẽ được khắc phục và bạn sẽ có thể mở tệp .exe mà không gặp bất kỳ sự cố nào.
