All the characters of the series are connected to him, the grandma, Dalmi, Do San, The sandbox CEO, the Sam San Tech guys, Dalmi's sister and even the dead brother of the Sam San tech guy, He shares a back story with Dalmi and Grandma and is the mentor of all. But Yes, he still iis not the main lead. I don't get it ! And those letters that started it all? They just swept in under the rug, as if they didn't matter .
I don’t understand either... the writer makes it look like he’s the main lead but actl he isn’t.. and sometimes also gave us hope of JiDal where in fact, they aren’t the end game.. ugh... But one thing for sure, Jipyeong’s character is so strong in this drama. So to me he IS the main lead :’) 💕
ikr, after making a big deal about those letters, like dalmi could not even date because of those letters, they were nothing in the end. even if han ji peyong wasn't the main lead all along, they could easily have switched. everything starts from him for God's sake. He was always there from the beginning. It was his story all along for me

I love how you put the scene when Ji Pyeong offer his river-view apartment and his fancy watch to Do San, to get one thing, which is love. I think this scene was showed us that sometimes, money do not buy everything. In this case, all that Ji Pyeong want is love, and not all the fancy thing that he's owned :(
Ji Pyeong is the most honest character in the drama. The Writer made serious efforts to show him perfect. No one was shown to be perfect except him. Does he want us to ship for Han Dal or he wants to show that Dalmi doesn't deserve him.
dal mi doesnt deserve him as what the present episode shown 🤷 mr. han should meet another girl that work at sandbox too that also shares the same passion and honesty like him.
i wish they would make a spin-off episode where dal-mi and do-san just becomes co-workers and have dal-mi and ji-pyeong end up together just for ji-pyeong and ji-pyeong fans to be happy
From watching the first episode i noticed that he has a really good background story for a second lead so I decided to not complete watching the drama cuz I will root for him more....seeing all the hurt people in the comments i think i made the right decision
I think the reason why they are dragging the love triangle till the end is the real narrative of the show is the love story of Han Jipyeong and Seo Dalmi. In Episode 9 we saw it that HJP is ready to sacrifice his happiness by giving up on Dalmi for Dalmi's happiness but out of all people and out of all things that could stop him from giving up on Dalmi is Dalmi herself. Seo Dalmi and the truth prevented him to give up on his own happiness and that's why he was able to confess his true feelings for Dalmi. And the story of their love is more mature and grew sweeter with time along with the consistency of their sincerity to each other. I believe HJP's value on Dalmi's life will be proven on the last 2 episodes. When HJP finally let her go, I believe Dalmi will see who he is really in her life.
The story started with Ji Pyeong with Yeongsil talking about his fate and we keep getting the symbolisms from Yeongsil and the woman telling them to ask ancestors. I believe Dalmi will choose Ji Pyeong. She will realize it has been Ji Pyeong all along ❤️

But i find that reasoning to be inconsistent with the latter episodes. The latter episodes had dalmo and dosan go through the cliche break up, the "distance makes the heart grow fonder" bit, and now the 2nd lead giving up the girl for the main lead. If they were going to be that cliche towards the ending, might as well be cliche from the start. plus i hate that the writers are putting too much focus in the love triangle, instead of the whole start up plot. Every decision the main leads make, is almost always because of love or the past letters.

The way do san always says things like "she didn't even mention u once", why does he do that in an irritating way, making ji pyeong look like a bad character? the same thing happened before coincidentally with a nam joo hyuk as lead drama as well. he was the lead for school 2015 but the viewers liked the second lead more. he also ended up with the lead female there but on year end awards the lead female won best couple with the second lead and not him. not joohyuk’s fault that writers create stories like these, but i hope he can pick better scripts in the future

The only ending i can see now is Jipyeong to end his story with dalmi with a final letter and finally move on elsewhere. Its a hurtful ending but the only one that i can think of. Jipyeong will only end up being heartbroken at this rate. I only cry at his parts

Script writer & director did " cruel " to character Han Jipyeong. They created good character Hjp from the beginning, and made us" love" Hjp and hope he will be deserved to end with hapiness. Sad to you HJP even though you not in Dalmi's heart but you are in ours .
Gaaaah I honestly don’t understand why all the back story is given to Jipyeong and yet it looks like dalmi will not pick him in the end. Dalmi says her first love is “Dosan” from the letters yet it didn’t look like there was much impact on her when she found out the Dosan in the letters was Jipyeong. Even the foundation of Dalmi and Dosan centered on Jipyeong’s ideas, and the whole series Jipyeong has been orchestrating everything for Dalmi’s sake, even the advices he give Dosan. At this point I don’t care anymore if Dalmi doesn’t pick Jipyeong but I just wish the writers also give him a happy ending 😭
The only thing that Dalmi can do is to say thank you to Jipyeong! This is breaking my heart already. Will I still watch the last 2 episodes? I know for real that Dalmi will not go to Jipyeong. Will I still hope for the best ending of this drama? There's so much pain and heartaches already for Jipyeong. The grandma seems not to say yes for Jipyeongs request about Dalmi. This is really heartbreaking for those who wish that the two will end together.

Alexa-Yeong-sil is wrong when it predicts "a good ball is coming your way...": Three hot shot computer geeks, one of them is Big Hands Nam Do-san, loaded with money, beaming with confidence, flying back from the Silicon Valley, is no "good" ball. It's the nastiest of knuckle balls, I'd say. Ok, everybody thinks it's over for JP with Dal mi piggybacking Do-san back to Seoul. Not me. Dal mi told Do-san that she had to BEG his parents to tell how to find him. From the conversation between Do-san's mom and dad, I don't think Dal mi had to "beg" for very long. She told DS that "we need to talk." Talk about what? We did not hear much of what they were talking about, did we?. She even fell asleep before eating the ramen. And in the morning, all we hear is Dal mi talking business to Do-san. Dal mi's dream is not Do-san, but to become the Steve Job of Korea. She is one tough, tenacious, and in JP's words "pretty resilient" young lady who has mastered the art of the deal. And it seems like she got the team she needed to help her realize her dream. Two more episodes to go. It's "two outs in the bottom of the ninth and a full count." I think JP will swing for the fences and score a home run. My two cents!
i’m also team han ji pyeong but I kinda understand why Do san was the one who ended up with dal mi. Ji pyeong wasted too many chances, meanwhile do san despite only reading the letter once, he did not hesitate to go meet her. Do san took every chance he could get, like at their first meeting and he was supposed to cut dal mi off after that time but he didn’t. Remember when ji pyeong almost went to dal mi to the party but do san arrived first? its kinda foreshadowing how he had so many chances he didn’t take like that part where dal mi had troubles with a hacker and she was about to message ji pyeong for help but then do san got there first and helped dal mi. ji pyeong had 3 years to take the chance and snatch her away from do san but again, he didn’t take that chance. do san on the other hand chose to stay in korea despite renewing the contract on 2sto, he always chooses dal mi no matter the circumstance (unlike that one time where they broke up)

Do san never feels a little bit grateful to Ji Pyeong. He talks to Ji Pyeong as if he is very much interfering with him & dal mi. C'mon do san wouldn't have met Dal mi without ji pyeong's help. He did so much for him & samsan tech but he just treats Ji Pyeong so badly like, I can't stand him anymore. Do san is very immature & childish. That's why he couldn't gain success till this age. Ji Pyeong deserves a huge credit for where samsan tech is standing now. Without him, we all know what this company was like till now.

the same thing happened before coincidentally with a nam joo hyuk as lead drama as well. he was the lead for school 2015 but the viewers liked the second lead more. he also ended up with the lead female there but on year end awards the lead female won best couple with the second lead and not him. not joohyuk’s fault that writers create stories like these, but i hope he can pick better scripts in the future

the only times dosan couldve helped dalmo was either because of him being a coding genius or because of jipyeong. Whereas jipyeong helped dalmi without any special skills, just aspects that he had to acquire on his own. Yet the efforts that only dalmi notices are that of dosan's. Love is blind yall 😬

The only ending i can see now is Jipyeong to end his story with dalmi with a final letter and finally move on elsewhere. Its a hurtful ending but the only one that i can think of. Jipyeong will only end up being heartbroken at this rate. I only cry at his parts

Script writer & director did " cruel " to character Han Jipyeong. They created good character Hjp from the beginning, and made us" love" Hjp and hope he will be deserved to end with hapiness. Sad to you HJP even though you not in Dalmi's heart but you are in ours .

Gaaaah I honestly don’t understand why all the back story is given to Jipyeong and yet it looks like dalmi will not pick him in the end. Dalmi says her first love is “Dosan” from the letters yet it didn’t look like there was much impact on her when she found out the Dosan in the letters was Jipyeong. Even the foundation of Dalmi and Dosan centered on Jipyeong’s ideas, and the whole series Jipyeong has been orchestrating everything for Dalmi’s sake, even the advices he give Dosan. At this point I don’t care anymore if Dalmi doesn’t pick Jipyeong but I just wish the writers also give him a happy ending 😭
The only thing that Dalmi can do is to say thank you to Jipyeong! This is breaking my heart already. Will I still watch the last 2 episodes? I know for real that Dalmi will not go to Jipyeong. Will I still hope for the best ending of this drama? There's so much pain and heartaches already for Jipyeong. The grandma seems not to say yes for Jipyeongs request about Dalmi. This is really heartbreaking for those who wish that the two will end together.

Ok, everybody thinks it's over for JP with Dal mi piggybacking Do-san back to Seoul. Not me. Dal mi told Do-san that she had to BEG his parents to tell how to find him. From the conversation between Do-san's mom and dad, I don't think Dal mi had to "beg" for very long. She told DS that "we need to talk." Talk about what? We did not hear much of what they were talking about, did we?. She even fell asleep before eating the ramen. And in the morning, all we hear is Dal mi talking business to Do-san. Dal mi's dream is not Do-san, but to become the Steve Job of Korea. She is one tough, tenacious, and in JP's words "pretty resilient" young lady who has mastered the art of the deal. And it seems like she got the team she needed to help her realize her dream.
Two more episodes to go. It's "two outs in the bottom of the ninth and a full count." I think JP will swing for the fences and score a home run. My two cents!

i’m also team han ji pyeong but I kinda understand why Do san was the one who ended up with dal mi. Ji pyeong wasted too many chances, meanwhile do san despite only reading the letter once, he did not hesitate to go meet her. Do san took every chance he could get, like at their first meeting and he was supposed to cut dal mi off after that time but he didn’t. Remember when ji pyeong almost went to dal mi to the party but do san arrived first? its kinda foreshadowing how he had so many chances he didn’t take like that part where dal mi had troubles with a hacker and she was about to message ji pyeong for help but then do san got there first and helped dal mi. ji pyeong had 3 years to take the chance and snatch her away from do san but again, he didn’t take that chance. do san on the other hand chose to stay in korea despite renewing the contract on 2sto, he always chooses dal mi no matter the circumstance (unlike that one time where they broke up)
