Brilliant distinctions and definitions of anger vs. rage. I'm 53 and have studied psychology as a 'hobby' my entire adult life. I've always intuitively known there's a difference between the two, but with no actual understanding of what that is or how to work with each. Thank you!

Is this done in integrated preschools with 16 children and 2 adults? What happens when leaving the setting suddenly triggers behaviors of the children in your class with autism and then the one teacher leaf is in a hallway with a few more children who are having a tantrum??

What good does teaching these children to selfregulate enraged or angry children, when they go home to the same parental environment?

We can only change ourselves and try our best to influence others. Sometimes trying to intervene with parents when you don’t have that authority can do more harm than good.
