- Comedian Mike Birbiglia hikes with Kevin Nealon in a Los Angeles canyon. You should check out all his specials in chronological order, because you can see him grow as a storyteller/comedian. He's one of the best now.

He was good in Trainwreak the movie ! I caught his special called My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend, I really enjoyed it and was so pissed at the car accident story! Took me awhile to relax about it . 🐕 🎅🏼 🎄

You two really got along well and it was funny. What a life this guy has had. The jumping out of the hotel/missile coming out you dream is crazy. Mike is also inspiring in that he has picked himself back up and keeps moving forward. Thanks Kevin for these hikes. It feels like we get to virtually hang with you and enjoy the walk. :)

I am 75 years old. I have a graduate degree in English and 30 years experience as a lawyer, reading and interpreting complex prose. Until today, I cannot recall ever seeing the word ‘donator.’ Just now I had to look it up, to make sure any dictionary actually recognized it as a word. It seems to mean the same thing as ‘donor.’ I would read ‘donator’ as ‘donor’ and otherwise only use ‘donor.’
I like that you looked it up because maybe Kevin was attenuating his gifting practices.

The more I watch Kevin the more I think that our country has moved from an industrial-to a service- to a knowledge- to an entertainment-economy. Maybe next season he'll hike the Appalachian Trail, and there will be a different sample of guests. Anyway, really enjoy the hikes - thx.

I get so much anxiety when I see people walking closely behind them
There are a group of fanatics, radicals - that follow Kevin around. About 100 wait
for Kevin at any/every possible hiking location. Doing anything/everything to get face time. But even IF they get on camera in their selfish quest for fame/fortune? Kevin fixes it (and them) in the mix. Edits them out which only increases their numbers/wrath.

'Sleep Hiking'- A new Disorder! wtg Kevin!
KEVLON, like the bulletproof vests, was my not-so-original idea for your nickname. Now that I think about it, if no-one’s nicknamed ya by now, probably just not meant to be...This hike, with one of the best/funniest “Confessional Comics”/ storytellers we have, Mike Birbiglia, was better than all the ASMR videos on TH-cam put together; and I’m too tired to explain why. (Mike is nothing like Paul Rudd, except for the AD/H/D. But now I’d love to see you go toe to toe with the talented Mr. Rudd).
I noticed his weight loss right away, and reversing Diabetes is impressive...As was his ACTING in “ Trainwreck”. I recall the improv Amy (over-rated) Schumer did with put-downs of him, and love that he shared his reaction; part of his appeal is his willingness to laugh at his vulnerability, instead of trying to hide it. My only kvetch is that this Hike With Mike went by too fast. Sigh...Thankyou, Mr. Kevlon, I mean Nealon, and thanks to Mr. Birbiglia for not begging off, because of his cough!
One more invasive nickname thought: Hike-Meister, and/or The Hike-Meister...(It beats Spanx-Meister)!
Just checked out Nealon's 1984 set on The Tonight Show, funny how his joke about Mama Cass dying from choking on a ham sandwich was based on a ten year old lie then, people still believe it to this day, feels a bit cruel to her memory.
