I wish this is was how sports always was instead of so many people taking it way too serious. I used to work security at AT&T stadium and I found a lady sitting on the floor outside the bathroom crying her eyes out after the cowboys lost a preseason game. Geez lady it's not that serious.
For some reason I’m usually way more emotionally invested in football than baseball yet I have much more fun watching baseball and it actually feels leisurely, whereas before and after watching football my anxiety is all over the place
The bullpen dance off is the best imo simply do to the amount of fun the guys were having. It's hard not to enjoy a group of guys just relaxed being kids again
@Calem LePage i dated a guy who played some minor league baseball and he played for a Single A team in a relatively small town. The town was all about supporting that team, though- Jeff (the ex) said he got spoiled playing there because while there weren't sellouts, the weekend games in particular were one of the only things to do there so thats what everyone did- go to the game. He said that people in the town knew the names and stats for every player, and while he was in the bullpen, they'd chat with fans and find out where the "after party" was gonna be, what was going on in everyone's life, etc etc. Just a really cool experience it seems from what he described. He said he was heartbroken whenhe was cut- just as hurt to be leaving that team and town as he was to not play baseball anymore.
I find something wholesome and delightful about watching professional ball players balancing the seriousness of the the sport with the joy of companionship.

I love that my Indians making baseballs of teammates were on the list. I remembered watching them earlier this year, and always seeing a new one or them talking about making one. Fun to watch a team acting like kids again. Especially the good kind of kids. Not the ones that are being immature and running willy-nilly...

Another time I was hanging out at a restaurant called Town Hall here in Cleveland and six or eight of the Indians were in there and they were just a blast. They pretty much all get along very well and all that great senses of humor. Except for Bauer oh, he is funny but weird as heck
Man, I miss Trevor in the MLB... I know he's flourishing in Japan & everything, but damn. No one in the MLB has his charisma & knowledgeable of the game. The dude was born for baseball. Hooefully we see him again soon.
Where I live we don't get many of the eastern games & being able to catch these clips is so groovy...rarely do we see this kind of sportsmanship, even between opposing team members, in any other sport but baseball, the greatest game on earth!!
