    I tried to use a 470 ohm resistor and it worked, but there was a voltage leak when I used a 220 volt LED lamp. does the 470 ohm resistor affect the performance? Would a resistor above 470 ohms or 560 ohms be better?

    Huge thanks for the clear n detailed explains... U just gained me as an additional subscriber... Luv yr presentation... Thou there r thousands others vids/channels by other bright indian individuals, i hated most of them for...
    1. Not stating the contents were in hindi while the title itself was written in english. Some did states the content was in hindi but the word hindi was placed all the way back in the title thus hiding it from a glance until the titles were clicked n expended or worse yet way later after its been dloaded (for later viewing due to time constrain;
    2. Clear n detailed yet simen ple contents. Every steps were clearly explained (helps novice like me a lots). Can be improves but good enough for me and reminded me of another great channel by mr ben eater which presented his steps in detailed n simple even for highly complex proj;
    Thus, please keep it up my brother... The values (of teaching n knowledge) u passed here will keep-on growing and passed to others, earnings u and others a like tons of good blesses....
    Thank you again,
    Huzzir frm Malaysia;

    I have in this circuit in my hand 3 optocouplers next to other and there is 1 white wire and 4 green wires that seem to feed it and the circuit seem to feed a mercury light bulb that consumes 90 Volts. What those wires mean that I should supply them with because the bulb is not coming on and is not connected or going through other areas of circuits. The 5 I guess do hook up to get its signals from the main control board. But I figure the main control just send current to them so I can do the same. It is just that I have not seen anywhere on the interent 3 optocouplers next to each 4 legs each.

    • @EEWave
      @EEWave  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Voltage doesn't matter. Current will decide about this things.
      In breadboard, you should not connect more than 2.5 amperes of Load at 220v. When you are working on this, always use copper conductor, don't use aluminum type. Be careful.

    • @EEWave
      @EEWave  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much Sir for subscribing to my channel.
      Now, your requirement can be done by adding a feedback circuit (also done by feedback transformer). This will take signals from the load, whenever there is more current than the set value, it will turn off the source.

    Hi
    I Like your Videos
    I want to build the AC dimmer as AC ON-OFF switch
    Can I use the same circuit with the ESP8266 Node MCU
    ]WIth ESP8266 Node MCU to enable PWM on a certain pin, use analogWrite(pin, value); where the pin is the digital pin, and value a number between 0 and 1023]
    Use case :
    1. When I set 0 value to the digital pin by analogWrite bulb should turn OFF.
    2. When I set 512 value to the digital pin by analogWrite bulb should set to brightness 50%.
    3. When I set 1023 value to the digital pin by analogWrite bulb should set to brightness 100%.
    I have a doubt :
    Arduino NANO gives an output voltage of 5Volt
    but ESP8266 nodeMCU gives 3.3 Volt.
    will this works
    please replay to me I am learning a lot from your Videos.
    Part :
    MOC3021 and BT136

      Hi Jotirling, thank you for this comment. I thik this should work. Any how we are using optocoupler so voltage level of microcontroller doesn't matter. MOC3021 can be used in 3.3 volt circuits. I'll try this.... then only I can say something.
