I am soooo gonna try this! :) I've been stamping for 18 years but just got a Cuttlebug for Christmas. It opened up a whole new world! Thanks for the great video!
Wowtastic goes right along with puddlized (being splashed by a vehicle driving by through a water puddle)! Love your ideas and videos! Thank you so much for sharing.
Exactly, two layers of thin chipboard from cereal, cracker boxes is perfect! You can even cut the cardbord with your dies or electronice die cutter for endless options!
An elephant hides in a jar of jelly beans? Wowtastic! Seriously, I love your tutorial. Getting my scissors ready for my cereal box. Thanks for sharing.
You have such a fun and upbeat personality... Love your videos.. I have tried so many of your techniques with great success on the first try.. Thank you for your hard work and willingness to share..
OK, I think I get what you are asking, first tape the die to the paper, then use the die and rubber pad to emboss only, then send the die through on the cutting plate but line the cutting plate up so the portion you want to remain uncut hangs over the end and crank it through...unless you think it might damage the die in that case put it on the cutting pad as normal and just crank it through halfway and crank it in reverse so it only cuts one half. Good luck!
You will have success, just tape 2 layers of cereal box together and cut out any shape window you like. If you are still getting embossed design in the window area remove some of the shim (like a sheet of paper) and if your emboss is not deep enough add a sheet of paper to the sandwich and when you get it right write it down for future use;)
Lindsey, how can you emboss 1/2 of a spellbind die and then cut the remaining half. I'm wanting to make a zigzag card while having half of the die cut shape hanging out over the bottom layer of the card. Hope you can help!
Lindsay-Can you please show us how to make a stamp into an embossing plate? I understand the method of using texture paste and a stencil to create an embossing plate but my brain won't twist far enough to get a stamp onto an embossing plate. Please! I am trying to be frugal too.

I'm always delighted when TH-cam tells me you have a new video. Wowtastic!

Thanks for sharing your success, I've been trying for ages to achieve this effect without buying the easy frames, can't wait to have another go!

Thanks for the lesson. Haven't used my Darice yet. Had them about a year. I'm hesitant to try new things. I will now.
You're adorable! Thank you for sharing.

Ha ha! you stayed to the end of the video, honestly, I should rehearse LOL:)
So excited to try this. I've wondered if this could be done. So did you double the cardboard and glue two pieces together to make the frame?
