I always thought that Priscilla looked so much like Elvis, she could have been his little sister. The eyes,mouth,cheekbones. I think Elvis kinda saw himself in her. If you look at LisaMarie you can see she looks so much like both her parents, it's difficult to say if she looks more like Elvis or Priscilla because the three of them look alike. Benjamin also looked like them, and one of the twin-girls too. LisaMarie and Benjamin has Elvis eyes and cheekbones but then you realise they are Priscillas just as much.

That may have been a big reason that he liked her. She's stated in interviews that when they were first married, Elvis wanted her to (sort of) look like a female version of him--dyed black hair, big hair. After they broke up she returned to her natural hair color.

One example alone is where he told her he wouldn’t be able to have sex with her after she had the baby because he “didn’t find mothers attractive”. How much anxiety and depression do you think that caused her? How much emotional turmoil do you think she went through? Wanting the baby but not wanting to lose the love of her husband. They didn’t get divorced because he was loving and kind. I don’t think he was necessarily intentionally cruel, he was a completely unstable emotional mess himself, he wasn’t accustomed to being told “no.” Maybe that’s why he was attracted to children. Quite like Michael Jackson I guess. Adults tend to be a bit more complex with their own wants and needs.
He was an exceptional talent for sure. He was handsome and he was rich, I don’t disagree with you there. But I do think that Priscilla was very, very unfortunate to have been put in his path. Before my time and even in my time girls sometimes married earlier than nowadays in my country and sometimes they was pregnant too or they have babies without husbands. My fathers mother was born in 1900 and she was married when she was 16 years old and then had six babies.

Times were different back then. I graduated high school in 1957 and several of the girls in my class were secretly married and some were pregnant when we graduated. It was all kept secret because they would have been kicked out of school if it had been known. One of my close friends got married at 15 years old when we were in the 10th grade, her husband was 30 years old and she met him in church. She quit school when she married and she already had two children when our class graduated.
