SupaKoopaKid64 Eh, no. It would make it more like the original game they're trying to base this level on, in this case. Notice how I said you could choose either visible or invisible. In games where the tracks are usually visible you could leave them visible. In games where you don't see any kinds of tracks then you could hide the tracks. It's not rocket science, dude.
Ok this makes me wish the game had Mario Land assets even tho i know its not considered part of the main series mario and what not, but just for the simple fact of having Tatanga in a level like this would be perfect like him as that big bonus ship that flys by in the actual game rather then boos lol

Even though there are some weak spots in the design (eg spin jump) this is an amazing level, very well done. I love it. Hopefully itll get even better with a small makeover

You could probably move the exit pipe farther out of the play area so that it can't be reached without a clown car. That way, even if one "cheats" they still won't be able to reach the pipe.
Andre is one of the few TH-cam famous folks on the top 50 list that actually makes good levels. I hate those automatic ones... Except for Mario Kart. That one is awesome
I've played a bunch of your levels, they're always great. I played this one last night and had fun with it. I didn't know it had an end, so I just spin jumped up to the pipe :p
Exquisite level as usual, I see. Very nice idea and I like it a lot. It's just too bad you can cheat :( But when I first saw it I was like... "Wait, how do you even win this game" - I had no idea a clown car would pop in :P It's also always nice how you show us how you made the level. Too bad I only saw half of it this time because my cat tried to catch all the spike tops.
Hey GX, i have a problem. my wii u has the color black, but the color of the pen of the human hand (in super mario maker) is white. can you tell me how to change the color of the pen? (sorry for bad english)
I just beat this level. Cool concept! However, I actually found the "shields" to be more of a burden than helpful as the Magikoopas kept on transforming them. I personally found it easier to just destroy the shields and fight without them.
This is an awesome level Andre, you and your team always seem to impress me, I am looking forward to seeing what's next. I am working on a level inspired by an arena in Splatoon, it should be coming soon. Look forward to it.
+Subspace King I am almost done with my Splatoon themed level.. I should have it up in a day or so. I just want my first "real" level to be extra special (I have two other level right now, one my little sister made and the other was me learning the game.)
I would make it so that enemies just keep coming and try to get a "high score" and see how long you can last since you get points for each kill. And then people could sumbit their scores in the comments with screenshots!
+Noah Green Do enemies dropping out of pipes automatically attach to paths (don't have the game, so I can't check)? If not then I don't see a way to generate infinite enemies.
+FireMax UltimatePyro The way I would have it is you could leave to beat the level at anytime. But it doesn't matter as there is no way to make an infinite source of enemies on rails.
I wish you could have an option to make the rails invisible in play mode, that would make a lot of ghost houses and levels like these much more interesting.
I have some great ideas for other classic arcade games, such as Dig Dug, PacMan, and Super Mappy, but... I don't have Super Mario Maker. I might get Super Mario Maker for Christmas, and when those levels are finished I will comment on one of your videos, or Facebook you the codes for the levels.
Couple questions: 1. Can you set the "shield" blocks to contain coins in some way instead of Kamek being able to shoot them and generate random enemies. I noticed on your play through that you took a couple cheap hits due to your shield being turned into one, meaning that your shield actually hurts you rather than helps. 2. There isn't really any way for you to "lose" if your enemies reach the bottom. Shouldn't you have the track continue out of the play field if they have gone "too far" and track out and onto a P-switch with a floor that would change on you if you let one through your defenses? 3. Couldn't you achieve the same thing you are trying to accomplish by having all of the enemies begin in a different section than the "play field" and making Mario have to start underneath them and then have to travel to the room you want the fight to happen in? Having the track enter the top of that room and making that room much more vertical? It would make it harder for people to spin jump to the top of the spiny and skip your design. Or just place a key on a bowser and delay him for a long time to make sure he enters the field well after everything else has had a chance to kill you properly?
this is a cool level I actually now want to make a level which uses the mechanic with enemies coming but not the same thing it's gonna be an entirely different level.
dude this game is a perfect 10 the possibilities are endless to the already greatest hit(s) of all time how could u not want a Wii U ! I don't even have the damn game yet but understand im 29 and got some financial issues momentarily , ASAP im getting this ! within the month

This level gave me more frustration than your Super Meat Boy level. You wouldn't believe my relief when I finally did beat it. Good level though.
