Hi, really enjoy the channel and your episodes! A couple brief comments: 1. You had easy access to the rear shock, why not take the fill plug off and check the oil level? 2. A rolling floor jack under the rear trailing arm would have been OK to compress the suspension sufficiently to change the shock absorber link, probably faster and safer for the average home mechanic than any kind of spring compressor, which can be very dangerous tools as you so clearly point out.

Nice video as always. Also a good time to put a drain plug in that diff.

Always enjoy your videos for helping me in diagnosing my 71 TR6 problems. I do have one question, do you have a video of taking out the rear wheel assembly that is connected to the differential. Unfortunately on the driver sider I believe I have bearing issues, the wheel wobbles and I can also slightly pull it in and out. A video from you to replace the assembly would be extremely helpful, thank you.

Mary is sitting on the front porch knitting a baby blanket. She recognizes your voice and says ‘Tell Elin I say hello’.
    So, Mary says hello.

Hi Mary! A baby blanket? Hm.... I am pretty sure it is not for Mr. George :)

I can remember doing a mod to the diff breather hole when I did a TR-6 diff. I tapped the hole and did a matching thread on a small piece of of pipe, then bent over facing to the rear .. I thought it would be easier to get at for cleaning off occasionally and would be less prone to allow debris into the system and therefore preserve the seals a bit longer. The bloke I did it for then promptly sold the car, so I couldn't get any data on whether it improved things in the long term. No wonder I've got anger issues eh ! 🤬 😂

Elin -I’ve dropped the diff on my 75TR6 and the short axle on the driver side has no cap on the end of the spline … I assume there should be one there? Don’t see one in the catalogs

Hi Yakov ! What if you put two bolts to fastener your spring lever ?

Are you going to make any attempt to get rid of all that surface rust.I'm amazed there are no holes in the frame of floor boards.

Are you gonna clean and paint the frame Elin? If it were me I'd have to get the wire brush out!

Hi Elin, it didn’t look like you put the retaining screws back in the face of the brake drum??

I did, I just showed one, but I did all 4.

You can do your screw in the seal but use a slide hammer on the screw to pull the seal...less likely to hit something trying to bottom your screw out to push against whatever is behind the seal...this is a Old Trick..

Hey Elin - do you get paid by the hour or by the job. Lots of work on Trevor’s TR6.

That was pretty nasty oil coming out of the diff.

If you do things, which include "you are going to be dead for the rest of your life", I'm having second thoughts, contracting you to a TR6 restoration of mine🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
