About engine parts... nabanggit dati yun dating CEO Nissan yun nakulong mdami daw binago sa parts dahil cost cutting niw kaya since wala na siya binago improve kaya ng Nissan yun mga units engine nila???
What surprised me the most about the kicks is the small size. Agree that this is closer to a hatchback than a cross-over SUV. The lack of a reverse camera for the VE variant is a bummer. They could have at least included that and left the 360 view option for the higher VL variant. Same goes for the lack of a spare tire in case of an emergency. They give you a DIY repair kit instead. Great review overall. Do you have any info as to how long it takes to reserve a unit these days?
Hi, I have not tried any electric cars yet. We know that in a standard car (with an internal combustion engine), when you are cruising and you release the pressure on the gas pedal, the car would be "free-wheeling" and there's no braking that would happen. You mentioned that if the Kicks is set in regenerative braking, you get that sort of braking feel the moment you release the pressure on the gas pedal. So in that sense, there's that constant deceleration, right? In my ignorance, I would tend to think that it might be a bit annoying, especially on the part of your passengers (let's say they're asleep while you're on a long drive and there's that constant braking pressure every now and then)? Kindly describe this particular aspect of driving on the Kicks. Thank you.
Pls drive a bump car to help your ignorance. I haven't tried an electric vehicle but my common sense functions. Why release a pedal immediately if you know there is regenerative braking? Common sense will tell you to gradually release.
I watched other reviews, the regenerative braking only works when you are in B (e-pedal) mode....he mentioned It also here (1:50 mark) but when you're in D (drive) you will be driving it like a normal car.
In places where traffic is always stop and go -- which is pretty much every population center in the PH -- Toyota's hybrids offer negligible fuel economy advantages over regular cars. I own a car care center. Whether Corolla Cross yan, Rav 4 or even Lexus hybrids, buti lang sa wala ang fuel savings. Don't buy into the hype from Filipino Toyota boomer fanboy
Is it true that when the front headlight (led) got busted, you need to change the whole headlight assembly?
How bad is the tapering after 110kph? Some overtakes go up to 130-140 momentarily, nagiging alanganin ba?
does this blue variant have cruise control?

Do you know if one can avail of the 360 camera as a dealer option? Just having that would’ve made it a sweet deal.
Trillions budget

Biggest downside is the ac
Nissan PH does not have a clear word on the aircon compressor issues.
Nope it’s not I got mine since last year super lamig pa din usually we put it in 23-24 temperature 3 kami sa loob ng car everyday.
Is the ac not ok ?
