Where did this story even come from? Why would Max leave RB, and a guarenteed championship till 2025 and maybe beyond to go to a Mercedes who are stuggling so much? It's insane.

Max said he is staying, Max likes RB, it's almost never what media speculate. Some bit of listening could help. Max hopes to be a one team man. He likes what he has got, he likes his predictable life, any change would mean leave a sure competitive car to uncertain space where he has to resettle, he is more likely to leave F1 after his current contract than he would change team.

@@justwayne4785 totally different circumstances. Merc is struggling and Lewis was at the end of his contract. Max has a good contract and unlike Lewis, is winning races which is tye ultimate goal besides the money.
@@Ogole-oye Lewis has said on multiple occasions that he wanted to end his career at Mercedes. Lewis wasn’t at the end of his contract he exercised a break, which Max is probably capable of doing, especially if Helmut leaves, then you have his dad to add to the mix.
I think Max would be crazy to go anywhere but Ferrari, I hope he stays at redbull, it’s the best team for him by far.
My point was, Lewis liked Mercedes, Lewis already had the one man team going on at Mercedes, Lewis had an excellent life at Mercedes, including a pretty much guaranteed ambassador role for life when he retired.
Lewis has moved for financial reasons, there’s no guarantee of the best car, he’s certainly not going to be number 1 driver.
@@justwayne4785 I hear you, but here's the point, he left because his beloved Merc weren't willing to give him a multi year deal which makes sense for both parties. Lewis is getting with age so, a long term and huge deal wouldn't be sound business, as for Lewis, he understands his brand value and got the opportunity to maximize his bag, in a team that had long been hitting on him and he had interest in which is okay too. Then add in the fact that the car has been sub par of late, there really is little for him to stay.
Why do I say it's different? Well Max would be walking away from at least 200million on the table. Also the team is built around him, the culture is different at RB which is to his liking. He is not a short term contract and is the highest paid at the moment on the grid. Although over the years, due to the success, Lewis is synonymous with Merc, he isn't and wasn't a one team guy, Max on the other hand has been, and has voiced that intent to that end. Now based on character, I am inclined to take Max at his word.
I hear what you said about the Helmut terms, that goes without saying, but in the same breath, Max is also on record saying, this thing works when the whole band remains together, which includes CH, Adrian and the engineers, so his expressed interest tells me, he is not looking elsewhere or fishing for a contract anytime soon. And despite the tensions, Max himself said they are not at the point that would cause him to walk away.
Danny Riccardo has had his time in F1 and sadly It’s over…..it’s tough watching him crushed and trying to smile when he knows it as well. He’s just there cause he brings sponsorship money

It all depends on the 2026 engines… we all saw how Merc had the jump last time in 2014(many think that wasn’t by chance either…)
It didn’t matter how good the RB was back then as they simply didn’t have enough power to compete on the majority of tracks.
If it happened it could turn out to be a great move.
And it’s hard to see how good this Merc can be with Ham and Rus in the car. Both are very inconsistent. Last year they were trading half second gaps in quali one week after another
North America is a geography area which is composed of 3 countries Canada, Mexico and US. Latin America is not a geography area, it's an area composed of Spanish and Portuguese speaking countries which excludes countries or regions that speak French which are also Latin countries since French also derives from the Latin such as Quebec, Haiti, French Guiana and other south american countries. It's an area very little understood by people and very confusing for all. All the countries in that area are not that together so Crofty, Checo sells in North America because of Mexico but in Latin America not really.

Mercedes should take Alonso because he is the most adaptable driver and can maximize any car. Lewis is great with the right car but he’s shown that he needs it to fit how he drives to maximize its performance and he doesn’t have it now.
The fact that Toto is even considering Max to the team is outrageous and another reason im sooo glad Lewis made the right decision to go to Ferrari.
