Birding Between Plateaus and Glaciers in Qinghai | Birds of China

Spent three thrilling days birding in Qinghai, China, mostly soaring above 3,000 meters. While the thin air up there posed challenges for us and naturally means fewer bird species in those lofty terrains, we were still rewarded with glimpses of unique avian wonders found only in these high-altitude regions.
