I’ve lived within 15-20 mins walk of the stadium my whole life, and first went to a game back in 1972 now (62) years old. I would want a new stadium, it’s not for me, but for my son (32) and my grandson (6) both are crazy Utd fans. Let’s build the best in the world for the next generation.

🤔 i don’t understand the complaints & gripes about “ETH’s 2023-24 Style of Play & Inconsistencies” 👉🏾 when MUFC had Greenwood’s situation shake up the beginning of the season AND the fact we as a club had a whopping (50+) injuries to which the backline had over (35+) combinations 🫤 OF COURSE WE DID NOT HAVE A CONSISTENT STYLE OF PLAY 🤦🏾♂️
Sam I’ve been a season ticket holder for 20 years and personally I really want a new stadium, no leg room and crap facilities inside OT, plus the leaks.
Leg rooms a killer if you're over 5"10
Plus going up to a 100.000+ seater makes a lot of sense.
There are still thousands of people on the season-ticket waiting list, who would guarantee to fill a big chunk of those seats alone.
We are probably the one club in the country who could fill that many seats week to week.
North stand is the worst I was on n44 the seats are cramped together and the atmosphere is shite I’m all for a new ground aswell

A loan with an obligation to buy is not a perfect deal, because if he flops, you're now stuck having to pay whatever fee has been agreed upon the following year regardless of whether he has cut the mustard or not. Now you have an obligation for a player who you might not want, which then effects next years transfer window and the ability to bring players in.
If United are going to do a loan deal for a 6, I'd much rather it was an actual loan deal with an option to buy versus an obligation to buy.

Agree, I don’t think the recruitment team would want to sign players because Eric knows them, they will only sign players who fit the system, I think it will be who is playing best or fits the game too now as to who plays
I like Wan Bissaka but i think it's strange to want to keep him when he only has a year left on his contract, it wouldn't make sense to resign him to a new deal and mainly everyone complains that ten Hag's style is inconsistent. Having players like Wan Bissaka, Maguire, Scott and Lindelof around means you'll always be looking for that plan B vs the elite teams only to still lose and when there are key injuries against the smaller sides we still can't impose ourselves

Get off from the nostalgia wagon. We need a new stadium. Yes OT is iconic. But we need new facilities. That's very important going forward. To bring in new players and attract revenue. We can't get trolled on the social media for leaky roofs. It's the right decision. Plus I belive INEOS would keep OT, as we can play in OT while the construction happens and we can use OT as an academy / womens stadium or even as a museum type tour destination. It will get Man Utd a massive amount of revenue.

Funny I have watched a bunch of older man Utd fans on yt who go to the games every year since the 60s and they all want a new stadium. If you go to old trafford more than once in your life time trust me you’d want a new stadium. I can almost stake my life on it that if you poll the match going fans and the older fans you’d be surprised they want a new stadium. Old trafford didn’t change in our life time cause of the glazers but it sure did a lot for the older folks but now the stadium can’t be fixed because it has too many things that can’t be fixed and let’s not get to the leaky roofs and the always clogged toilets that don’t work. It’s sad to see old trafford fall into disrepair due to neglect but the truth is we need a new stadium asap. If we really want to achieve our goals and not get left behind. Change is always necessary and who knows maybe we’d use this new stadium for the next two hundred years.

AWB being a great defender is a myth we need to end. His biggest strengths for us are his 1v1, press resistance and dribbling. That's about it. He fails to measure up in other areas of defending like his defensive awareness, his marking, and set piece defending, crossing, tactical suitability in offensive areas of the field.
We can't keep a player because of 1-2 things he excels at. There's a reason no big clubs are out for him. We need to stop being delusional as a fanbase and accept that AWB is not good enough.
Why a loan for? Just buy him outright!
Come next season, we will shout and complain about a leaky right back position if we sell Wan Bissaka. We all know we cant depend on Dalot on the big games against the likes of city, Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool, Madrid, Bayern etc. We will need a proper defensive right back like Wan Bissaka to cage the opponent's speedy and tricky wingers.
