Its so weird watching this today because most of the players from the highlight are now retired, NFL analyst, has their own TV show, radio hosts, assistant coaches, or a GM.
This was like the golden age of the NFL my time and in HS. Damn wish the pro bowl was good like this and damn all the star talent in this game blows my mind from offense to defense.
Once players started earning crazy millions they stopped caring about the extra $ and switched to i dont wanna get hurt mentality. Taking it out of hawaii, putting it before the super bowl, etc all ruined it. I took these pro bowls for granted when i was a kid, nice to go back and watch them now!
Ironic to think that, out of ALL NFL stars in this game, AFC#7 is the only player to have played in same stadium previously several years prior, when he was in college...Salute, Roethlisberger!

Adrian Peterson only has one season with over 2000 scrimmage yards, while Erick Dickerson has 4 of them.

The argument about rings is very lazy. Teams win championships, not just the qb. And this doesn’t even take into account the opposing team. There are so many factors, that saying rings = greatness is just lazy. For instance, look at mannings last super bowl, he played pretty bad that game, but it’s a ring nonetheless. Brady wouldn’t have won the first or last pats super bowls without his defense. Performance > rings

I was stationed in Hawaii then lived as a civilian during early to late 2000's. I was able to see the Pro Bowl several times relatively cheap
