Yes very true...70's & 80's were the golden era of Sandalwood many Kannada movies were remade in other languages...especially Dr Rajkumar movies were remade in Hindi,Telugu,Tamil,Bengali & Malayalam,even Anuraaga Aralithu movie was remade in Odia & Bangladeshi languages but in late 90's remake movies era started in our industry,many Superstar's opted to do more remake movies to achieve success which inturn spoilt creativity & our Industry Standard's as well...but as of now good content orientated movies are made in our industry which is a very good development...

Only vry few producers like K.C.N. made every effort to bring flms which were worth Rajkumar. Many grt Hindi, Telugu actors, producers have said this. MGR was a mass hero. Where as S. Ganeshan was a class & mass hero. Bollywood exposed whole sentimental talent of RajKapoor. exposed whole talent of tragedy of Dilip kumar. Exposed whole talent of romantic of Devanand. Exposed whole talent of angry man of Amitha Bachan. exposed whole talent of natural acting of Sanjeevkumar.. exposed whole talent of He man of Dharmendra.& So on.
