So this fight has been completely retooled, when it comes to the final bosses. It's now Lilith and Inarius. - Lilith casts a blood pool which you have to lure Inarius over, and probably some other spells too. But be careful. This pool will tank anyone's resistances to 0, leaving you vulnerable to elements so don't stick around in it when it happens. - Inarius' spells only cast when he's in melee range, and even then they're a chance. - Lilith and Inarius will both attack each other. Inarius is invulnerable, so if Lilith dies, the quest is failed. But... Did you know? Purify can be used to kill ANY invulnerable boss, if you're patient enough. I did it... A few thousand times it feels like. But after the pain of going through Pride (which you can no longer teleport within), I'm definitely uncertain I want to attempt the primary way again. - If he's at about 1/4 health or less though and Lilith dies, you can use Purify to finish him off, no sweat. Just carry a source of slow though. I play unholy caster Paladin. Mind flay slowed him down, giving me plenty of space to just keep hitting him with it until he died. Took several hours as he was at 9/10 health (lol) but I did it! - Fun fact: You could probably kill Lucion in the Triune in probably about 30-60 minutes and simply keep him held there if you have summons. He deals such weak melee damage, even the Servants of Valor (formerly Scourge) could just tank him. Works on any boss! I only recommend it as a last resort though because naturally it only does 625 damage over 5 seconds so it's a slooooow process.
Hello, unless they changed this fight in 1.4 (Last ladder I played was 1.3 i think, when trapsin was ultra op) the best strategy is the next, which, I learned from a guy who farmed this boss everyday when everybody else were crying about how rng based the fight was. Here it goes. Summon the bosses Let Rathma hit Mendeln so he is at 1 hit range from the dark-ray Separate them (you can even corner Mendeln and stay in a position in which Rathma does nothing and he keeps taking damage) Leave Rathma at basically 1 pixel HP. Why Rathma? Because he is the only one that takes damage from purify, that's why the 1 pixel HP Pull Mendeln to Rathma with Edyrems Rathma kills Mendeln You kill Rathma with Purify That would be it, I've done it this way multiple times so I encourage you to try it out and tell me if you find it easier this way. Best regards, you're doing some good community service with these videos
Thanks for the tip. I'll try in the next season. After I got the proper charm, I farmed the trophy by simply having Rathma kill Mendeln over and over and using the scroll of the void to get back withouth running the whole gauntlet.
@@jonsaylor2972 You can only stand still if Mendeln is slightly closer to Rathma than you. Otherwise, you have to walk around to avoid the exploding corpses and the holy rain.
Not really. I think that would be more build-based than anything. I tend to add the duncraig one to any of them. Seems a good farming one, even if you don't benefit from the life/mana on hit. Fauztinville, Duncraig and Vizjun are full of undead and demon monsters.
Yes, you can only upgrade the sleep once with one trophy. If you want a different bonus, you need to get a different The Sleep charm and add the respective trophy to the new one. Can't have two at the same time.
Well, technically yes, but the damage is so small it is insignificant. It would probably take a million shots to kill him. Mendeln has a smaller healthpool, so eventually Mendeln can be killed with Purify more realistically.

@@jonsaylor2972 I nearly had a legit heart attack because of this fucking madness. This was back when heroic bosses had the random immunity shield. @@pukebeard6406 That is a great tip for farming the trophy. Thank you
Where do you stand without taking much damage? I'm not even sure what does the big chunks of damage to me, but 35k life drops to 0 before I can react

GG.
What kind of skill is used to push the boss?
Just standing near him will make him run away.
Why do you only spawn 1 familiar? just curious.
There's an invisible 'monster' in the center of the arena and too many summons tend to be able to kill it and prevent the fight to start.
