- Join us on day 4 of our amazing trip to Poland as we check out Legendia theme park located in the Polish city of Chorzów
Legendia first opened way back in 1956 and has now become a park that is definitely worth a visit especially for their brand new for 2018 dark ride called Bazyliszek and for the amazing 2017 Lech Coaster, the world’s first Vekoma Bermuda Blitz
We was joined again by friends Tom and Stacy and we had a really good day enjoying all of the main rides, filming another long vlog and getting plenty of on rides povs
Full vlog and povs are all filmed in HD 1080p 60fps using a GoPro Hero 6 with official accessories also filming on the rides was allowed with either a chest harness or handle

In the Polish version of the legend, three brothers went hunting together but each of them followed a different prey and eventually they all traveled in different directions. Rus went to the east, Čech headed to the west to settle on the Říp Mountain rising up from the Bohemian hilly countryside, while Lech traveled north. There, while hunting, he followed his arrow and suddenly found himself face-to-face with a fierce, white eagle guarding its nest from intruders. Seeing the eagle against the red of the setting sun, Lech took this as a good omen and decided to settle there. He named his settlement Gniezno(Polish gniazdo - 'nest') in commemoration and adopted the White Eagle as his coat-of-arms. The white eagle remains a symbol of Poland to this day, and the colors of the eagle and the setting sun are depicted in Poland's coat of arms, as well as its flag, with a white stripe on top for the eagle, and a red stripe on the bottom for the sunset. WOW blast from the past... I live less than a mile away from American Adventure, Iron Wolf (twin looper) and The Missile (now Wipeout at Pleasurewood Hills) were my training wheels as a kid. Great memories. I knew The Missile was still operating but not the Iron Wolf... May be worth making a pilgrimage...

Enjoying a bit of the back catalogue I missed originally. Definitely a trip to Poland when the kids are tall enough for the coasters.

Hi Andy Lisa and Tom and Stacey great vlogs from Poland. I'm getting on a bit so my parents lived thru WWII. My best friend at school was Polish and lost family at Auschwitz. Appreciate your comments as so many people forget what happened. Keep on riding the rides so us oldies can see what we are missing when our old bones play up. Thanks!

Another strong vlog .what a beautiful setting for a theme park. I think now with its new owners it has huge potential. Those planes would look amazing on Maxim's flying machine. I think you lost your exit ticket on the Circus Hoppala ride.😁👍

Kevin Floyd other than standing under a tree there is literally none at all, but saying that tho lots of parks don’t have a lot of shaded areas, Thorpe Park has none and makes it worse when it’s busy and standing in long queues all day
Coaster Crazy I noticed in the last vlog there were parasols in the queuing line. Thought was a great idea. As you've said on many occasions the UK need to sit up and take a look at these parks in Europe
So jealous that you experienced a HUSS Rainbow. It's the ride that got me into rides, but have yet to ride it. Last time I saw it operate was 2002 and I was too afraid of heights :(
I think they will slowly theme this park to legends like Lech & that shooter with the basiliks.They probably replace things a long the way.Lech looks amazing now as a Dutch I can be proud again at the name Vekoma controversial !!!.Great to see another vlog of a Polish park in English.

Stephen G I would love any park to get one as it’s really good and better than most other coasters I’ve been on and tbh Lech has more airtime than Icon and Big One put together
this is a very old family park... In the recent past, this park was owned by the City. The city did not want to spend a lot of money on it... / 2 years ago, the park was taken over by a private investor and this investor began to modernize it...

Andy, courtesy of pleasure beach experience, apparently Hyperion at energylandia is actually meant to open today, they had a testing vlog of it, and do my usual reading, and looks like it opens on the 14th, which is today, so if it's open enjoy 😊
COASTINIT.FAIRS JILL we are not in Poland now, we came home last week ! I know about Hyperion opening today as I’ve seen it on their official Facebook page, it opens to the public at 10:00pm tonight because it’s based around Space it will give a more immersive feeling, we are so gutted that we missed it by a week but are planning to go back again soon

I went to Aushwitz in November. It's one of the most humbling experiences of my life. What those poor people went through should never be repeated! I was fine until we went in to the room of human hair. I lost it and broke down. Obviously when we visited it was snowing and freezing cold, so you can imagine the atmosphere was solemn.
Really looking forward to our family holiday to Efteling at the end of August. It's going to be our first ever visit :-)

Quick question..... I’ve seen your other vlogs that you now email the parks to see if it’s ok to do POV’S, can you not do that with blackpool pleasure beach? as long as your wearing your chest harness it shouldn’t matter should it? Why have they gone so strict with filming on rides?

COASTINIT.FAIRS JILL I actually got bit by a Horse Fly when I was on Balder in Liseberg and it just like hell, lisa had to squeeze the bite to get the poison out as I was starting to feel dizzy but was fine within minutes ! When we went to Adventure Island is Southend not so long ago had counted 9mosquito bites, even had one on my head
If over time, every part of a coaster, every nut and bolt, every piece of track was replaced, but kept, then assembled somewhere else, would this count as a new credit; and which one would be the original coaster?
Mark French if it’s a relocation then it’s not a new credit as it’s still the same coaster

Your certainty brave to go on that flat ride, an Rock-O-Plane or Egg wheel is my limit when it comes to spinning.
The cycle on that Circus Hoppala was well over 5 minutes. Crazy. I can do most rides but find extreme air time like sitting at the end of big swinging ships like the one at Efteling goes for my head. :-( I'd give Hoppala a go. But 5 minutes+ Jeez.... I was a bit disappointed with Symbolica if I'm honest too. I'd probably prefer a shooting style ride like what they have there. Droomvlucht is miles better than any of these though.

Love the vlog mate. I hope Vekoma will be building one of their newer coasters here in The Netherlands. The last one they build here was another family boomerang and opened last year, and wasn't that exciting.

I had a soft spot for Twin Looper at American Adventure, even though it’s awful after the loops. A lot of fun to ride backwards though!

southern trains. 377 it’s nothing like Icon lol, Icon has 2 launches this doesn’t, Icon was build by Mack Rides this is Vekoma, Lech has amazing theming Icon doesn’t and if I’m honest Lech is more intense

Coaster Crazy I appear to have posted the same comment twice, but thanks for replying again. My question was actually a metaphysical conundrum called The Ship of Theseus - or more recently, Triggers Broom - applied to roller coasters, where we question whether something can retail its original identity, even though it's been completely replaced. But the "coaster credit theory" states that it can. So that's that one solved. 🎢👍
