Speaking Portuguese last week Charles had a super cold line that wasn't translated well. He was asked about the beef that seems to be building between his teams and khabibs team. DC saying that the Arizona athletic commission took Charles Oliveira’s title from him is a lie. I’m sure the UFC would like everyone to believe that lie because it lets the organization off the hook. However, the UFC title is a promotional title and the athletic commissions do not have anything to do with those belts. The UFC stripped Oliveira of the lightweight crown when he missed weight at UFC 274. Despite what the UFC and its employees would like us to believe, there’s no way around that fact.

The same people who claim Islam doesnt deserve a title shot after 10 wins are perfectly ok with chandler and Tj getting a title shot after one win. Selective bias.
Chandler was a star in mma coming from bellator and tj is former champion who beat top 3 guy which islam hasn't done
TJ is an undefeated champion, and has a hell of a pedigree to warrant his chance at the title. He fought arguably at the time a top two BW fighter to earn his shot to get his belt back ( that he never lost BTW ). Islam hasn't fought anyone in the top five @ lightweight and those are facts. His most impressive fight in recent memory was Dan Hooker and Dan has unforunately become a journeyman. I don't even think Dan was in the top 10 when he fought Islam @ 155.
