- Come along with me to the land of the weird as I experience my first trip outside of Canadian borders! I may have been a stranger when I showed up, but that changed very quickly as I soon realized the weirdos were all only as strange as me 😏 😜

Honestly, I hate when a biker blocks traffic. It's such a dick move.
It's a necessary move if you don't want to leave half your group behind and have people who don't know the area trying to figure out where the heck they are going. Would be pretty impracticable for each bike to have to stop at the intersection and wait for traffic lol.
You actually have to do for safety and to keep the group together…. The people in cars can wait 3 minutes to let them pass…. Guaranteed those kinda ppl will take more time just commenting on TH-cam and be fine with it…. But stop them for no more than 5 minutes and they get all mad 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I'm glad you enjoyed your trip! But I gotta say, if the heat and humidity were getting to you in March, do yourself a BIG favor and stay far away from the South in August. You would croak for sure! :)

Red you have a way of making all of your videos an interesting experience. You will always be welcome in the States. You fit right into the culture. Besides, there are a lot of Canadians in U.S. That mentality is genuine no BS. All the best and ride safe.

I totally got the no BS vibe from the people I met there!
I rode my bike for 5 years in Florida and loved being able to ride almost every day.
There are days when it rains alllll day!
The weather was perfect the entire time I was there!

Pretty hot fiddling on Billy in the Lowground; I guess you've become acquainted with how much we State-siders love you, Angel! You're invited to sojourn here any time at all! Wondering about your over-all thoughts of the Sportster this trip.
I would love to visit many more times!! I thought the sportster had good power and handled quite well! It was a stretch for the foot pegs though so that would be my only “complaint”.

Looked to be a great introduction to southern life in the US of A. You can tell who is from the south by the way we act/behave I guess you could say. Or for me it would be my thick as molasses southern drawl and not taking everything to seriously. We just pretty much go with the flow and minding our manners. I'm more than happy you had the chance to experience the campout. But there is so much more to discover in each southern state. I love my state of South Carolina. Loved the video and watching you enjoy your visit! Oh, and loved the interview with the bike builder! Ride and stay safe in your beautiful B.C.!

The South welcomes U ! There are plenty of mountains up north, come to Bama, you won't believe how beautiful it is country roads less traffic.
I lived in Florida 10 years...
We also have lots of beautiful country roads where I live 😁

Being from the south and maybe you'll make it back one day I have just one piece of knowledge to pass on to you. Ever see in any movie that's set in the south and there's a woman with a big floppy hat? Sometimes gardening, sometimes with a ribbon tied around their chin holding the had down? There's a reason for that. Humidity is what it is but direct sunlight on your head doesn't help either. Get yourself one of those big floppy, shade providing hats. I promise you it makes a difference. I actually have some "Vietnam" straw hats that were made for me by some Vietnamese friends of mine. (Shrimpers in Georgia) and have used them. It really, really helps. That's my 2 cents. Happy for you that you had this experience! I still have the traveling bug myself but with work, well you know the drill. Thanks for posting. I enjoyed the video. Reaching for the stars isn't a destination. It's a journey! As always.....keep on keeping on.✌️
Yea I definitely could use a hat sometimes. I've never liked the feel of them on my head so normally I just avoid going out in the sun.... being a ginger sucks sometimes lol.
Florida is nice in the winter, but it can get really super hot and muggy in the summer. In the North it is cold in the winter but we have nice summers:)

Hi 👋 Angel, it looks like you guys are enjoying your weekend, thanks for sharing your experience with Forgotten Angels, The chop triumph at 11-40 , it’s very similar to what I was riding back in the late 60s 70s, only mine had Norton Dominator engine in it, I just wished I’d kept some pictures from back then, A receipt, we didn’t have mobile phones with cameras on et cetera them days, and the green bagger that is slammed to the ground, look very nice as well, at least you don’t have to worry about a side stand, 😂, stay safe,
It was a lot of fun! I really like the look of that triumph too! I got to ride and it had a really heavy clutch lol.

Yeah, ha, no mountains... and probably you noticed, not many curves either... lots of straight roads.
Florida is not the best place to ride... too hot, too humid, no curves, no mountains.
But, the good news is NO snow!

WELCOME …this spring is very low humity but has been wet a bunch. Southern folks are very welcoming. Be careful as tourist traffic is very dangerous here. Central Fla has some hilly country roads but not like mountains of other states or Can provinces. ENJOY…

Do you know, Angel I could not be at the forgotten angels gathering but with your video made me feel like I did at least get a little bit of the feel. How do you like the seat on that bike you had remember you commented that mine was real shiny looks like you’re riding on the same seat that I have pretty dang comfortable ain’t they couldn’t see if yours was a Mustang, but it was the same exact set up I have I was born in West Palm Beach Florida lived 10 years of my life there glad you got to see it looks like you really enjoyed yourself Here’s wishing you a safe trip.

Hey Jas! The seat was a mustang seat and I thought it was pretty comfy. I just had a hard time reaching the foot pegs, I was stretched right out.
Red, the music at the end was just the ticket. I'm glad that you had some " southern hospitality." You probably made the right decision, going back to camp, not having any sun screen. The sun at that time of year is very intense. You can get burned very quickly, before you know it. Thanks for the great video.
I Lucky only got a little pink on my nose and nothing else for a burn the entire trip.

Good to hear the southern hospitality didn't disappoint. Florida can be hit an miss with that. We do have mountains by the way. One state north an you find the Appalachians. As a Appalachian American myself, I couldn't become a flat-lander either. I need twisty roads.
Yea I would definitely be missing the mountains after not too long.
If I were to pick a favorite it would be from 17-32 to 17-45. An Evo Sportster with 1957 badges and paint. Well done! Florida is great in fall and spring. Winter's not so bad either but I don't like the heat in the summer, especially being from the north. If you enjoy mild weather and mountains try North Carolina, especially Maggie Valley. Home of the coolest Motorcycle Museum in the world. Dale's Wheels Through Time.
I've heard that North Carolina is a good place to ride. And I would love to check out Wheels Through time if I ever get over that way!

I've only met one other Army member down here in Vancouver, but he doesn't ride. I've ridden passed your place many times in the past, taking the no hwy drive to my sister's house off of Scenic Rd. (Her husband owns PJ's Party Cakes if you evenr need a deal). Then I come across your video's and your rides seem so familiar.

Hey RR.I moved down here 2 years ago from Ohio, I love the folks here ,but honestly the summers are blistering hot and I sorta miss the changing of seasons . I think I;ll split my time here with Ohio. Love Ohio's country roads on my HD !

youre in florida when the heat is still pleasant. its hot as a mofo therebefore long. the sun will cook you. some can tolerate but I live in S.Carolina and Florida heat is too intense. I am fair skinned but not red haired. It is a great place to visit and you are right about southern people. You have a genuine quality that makes it easy for people to "take a liking to you" and I believe your channel is going to blow up.
Yea the daytime heat there was definitely getting hot enough for me.
