YOU, guys really dropped the ball on the Blueparrott app. Its useless. I recently bought the BT-650xt at LOVES and it hangs up on calls, no voice recognition when trying to answer. Tried for 2 weeks and returned it. Ive had my xt-450 for 6 years and works great. You guys gotta review and fix your product!
@@ninocw It is ridiculous. So seriously, in the last 3 weeks, I have gone through the BT-650, BT-650S, and the BT-550. The app is useless and I've known that for years, but zero compliance on voice recognition and all 3 would just drop calls. So on Monday I bought the newer version of the Bt- 450 and it works flawlessly. So for now, my advice is to stick with the BT-450 and below, because the new models have serious bugs in them.
sooooo I have purchased the S650-XT AND the S450-xt and I have had more issues than you can think of. The S650-xt just cuts off during calls at random. It will connect to my phone and sometimes volume is very very low no matter how high I turn up the dial on the phone and headset. I have unprogrammed and reprogrammed the headset many times, nothing. I've tried to update the firm ware, nothing. I'm going back and forth with blue parrot but they keep trying to fix and issue that seems that can't be fixed, I just want a new headset smh. The s450 was great until it stop holding a charge, that is in the process of getting another one from the warranty that I have. How can I get the 650 to download the new firmware...it won't work on my phone or computer. I have the iPhone 11 and a Mac and both iOS are up to date! HELP.....lbvs
Would’ve been nice to have the functions explained. I’ve been having trouble with this new headset since I purchased it. It drops calls, disconnects for seemingly no reason. I’m trying to figure out if the problem is me or the headset. I’ve had a lot of BlueParrots and never an issue until now.
I think it's the 650s I don't know about the 550 but the 450 works similar to the 250s which I've had for years and never had any problems I do believe I had the 250 for 12 years or so maybe longer. I had bought a couple 650xt's but had to return them both. Return it and try the 450 XT I think you will be a lot happier
I've owned two 250 XTs for quite some time one was friendly car and one was in the house. Never let her have any problems with either of those two headsets. So I had bought a refurbished 650xt from Amazon, figure to be a nice upgrade for on the 250 XT, the sound clarity is incredible people on the other end can't even tell that I'm in my vehicle. But there was one problem, when I would ask Google questions through the headsets to my cell phone like the temperature outside or any other questions that I could ask Google. So by the time I was able to hear his response from my Google Assistant It would be at the end of the responses or if it was a lengthy response it would cut off the beginning. If I asked it something that had a much longer response it would still cut off the beginning. So I returned the refurbished headset ordered a brand new one and I did the same exact thing too much of a delay response. Both the used and new 650xt had sent back also would not understand the voice commands 95% of the time and I would ask it to call a friend in my phone contact list It would not understand. Then ordered a brand new 450 XT works perfect and it understands everything with no delays on responses and I do believe it's a tad bit lighter than the 650xt. I recommend the 450xt seems to work similar to the 250 XTs which like I said I've used for years. The fit on the 450xt is great and It has a very nice look to it. Much more updated look than the 250 XTs.... So I decided to order a refurbished 450 XT for and the house and I'll see how that works.
I still have issue with my 550 as it won't call anyone unless I unlock my phone. that SUCKS! What good is it to use hands free when it forces me to play with my phone to make a call??? Anyone else have this same problem? Is there a fix for this?
You can make the headset a "trusted device", so the phone will stay unlocked while connected to the headset. This works well, and I have done this with the 450 model.
They are not over the ear and ANC can’t work if headphones are not over the ear, just keep your 450, or buy rand McNally headphones they are over the ear and with usable ANC, this 650 is unfinished product which shouldn’t be available for sale
@@moviemogul83 I don’t for you, I tried them today and they didn’t cover my ears and for me than meant non over the ear, and if they don’t cover whole ear ANC can’t work properly because of to many gaps (space) between ear and ear cups, to much noise coming in and headphones can’t build necessary air pressure for ANC to work properly, if you have smaller ears it may work for you.
I have the B550. I would like to know what's the difference between the b550 and the b650? Also, I have a fat head so I have the issue of the none speaker side pinching my head. Why not pad the side opposite of the ear speaker to cushion the headset? I've had every model since the b250. The only headset that doesn't pinch my head is the double sided headset with the cushions on both sides. And as a truck driver it's unsafe to cover both ears while driving. So as a result I can't wear the headset for very long which makes it a hassle trying to grab your headset while driving to receive a call. Also, make better quality ear and mic cushions that don't fall off or rip so easily. How can there not be any accessory options available for these well known issues?
That's how it happens! I am buying a second generation b450-xt - I think: "To get some more not to charge" I take 550 I say to myself "Here I am fashionable" and a week later, here is the new video! The video is cool. Let's go into a little more detail now. What does it charge with, is there any battery optimization? It's a little tasteless, there are no spices in this presentation!
The head band is a no go for me. Too thick and fat. One needs to observe clearance signs while wearing a device of this type n design. The Headband has no flex catches hair and eliminates hair on guys who can’t afford to loose any. (Sorry fellas). And is the reason I own many 350 ‘s still have a 250 that’s 10yrs old working so awesome. BlueParrott gotta make some modifications to its charging system. Allow headset to stay on when plugging in charger. Thin solid headbands is a must.
Ok let’s be honest at this point they all do the same shit. Hell if You have the 350 your still good. All blueparrot does is increase the number model number and make it look kool. But look at the specs all the same shit. So save money and get the 350 or even the 250 if you just starting out in the game. 550 works for me cause of the ear pad bigger and doesn’t feel likes it’s squeezing your ear.

So disappointed in this product I will go to buy rand McNally because they are real over the ear headphones with usable ANC because no noise coming in and ANC can work properly, this new blue parrot 650 headphones should be available for sale because they are unfinished and unusable product, biggest disappointment from biggest blue-parrot headphones, and one more time question for Blue-parrot what is point of ANC when noise can come inside my ear from many different sides from gaps between ear and headphones while I wear this stupid headphones?

This headset is garbage don't buy. Just spent 250 dollars on s650. Unit turns off every 2 min even after Dec 2022 update. This is a known issue after reading reviews yet blue parrot keeps selling faulty junk for 250 dollars! Shame on blue parrot! Cleardryve is the same way! All these trucking headset companies need to do better. A bigger names company is going to find the nitch that you guys are missing with quality and take you all out of the game. S650 is the absolute worst pair of head phones I have ever bought. Connection issues where it will mute the sound till I place my palm over the nfc zone of the head phone Drops calls, long screeching beeps in my ear, and just over all most frustrating thing I've ever bought! Hate it! If you ready this. Do not buy and return it asap if you bout it. Heard 450 might be good or 550 but this 650 is trash! Complete and utter trash! P.s. already swapped it for a second one thinking I got a bad one just for both to be TRASH!!
This is too expensive compared what's offering, I'm really disappointed of this s650, voice commands are impossible to use, the ear piece after 10 minutes becomes a nightmare, the head band is uncomfortable, and can't control the volume on the default blueparrot voice I BARELY can hear what's saying....and i don't even mention the android APP pure garbage you can't do ANYTHING!! with that app..
I just bought a s650 and it is the worse piece or trash out there. It's so bad I'm going back to my apple pods . There's a constant static the sound is like you are listening through a blanket the only good think about them... Nothing because they are uncomfortable for 250.00 and y'all couldn't even get comfort right? And it consistently disconnects from calls music your phone... This headset is worse than dollar tree buds. I still have my 450 and I'm going back to it. I can't believe this trash. And I'll find a way to refund these no matter where I have to go. Do yourselves a favor and don't buy these. It's a warning ..
These are completely trash! I have bought two different headsets just to see if maybe I bought a defective one and nope still randomly hangs up on people and randomly turns the volume all the way up. I also have to wait till the headsets press msd to answer before I can hear the other person on the phone. Horrible product you should be ashamed to even sell this crap!!!!

Was so disappointed in this headset, if you have a large head and big ears don’t get it, took it back before the first 24 hours was up, they need to increase the size of the ear piece to make it over the ear and add more padding

I’ll be upgrading from my 450 Classic. The larger drivers, over ear vs on ear and the ANC sell it for me. I just want to know when I can buy it
They are not over the ear and ANC can’t work if headphones are not over the ear, just keep your 450, or buy rand McNally headphones they are over the ear and with usable ANC, this 650 is unfinished product which shouldn’t be available for sale

650 looks like it has a lot more padding. Charging is USB C instead of micro USB

Active noise cancellation for the earcups is a real upgrade. Otherwise I agree with you, very similar feature set.

Stay away from the 650 it has too many issues it will drive you crazy
