kevin got daniel talking. i love all of the concert videos and the npr tiny desk, but i always come back to this one. after daniel warms up to the interviewer you can see his personally come out and see where the music comes from. love it.

I woke up this morning never having heard of Daniel Norgren. Found him randomly on the Ancienne Belgique channel. Now making the rounds (NPR, KEXP, etc.). What a find! The best kind of day is discovering music as special as this for the first time,

I love the respect these guys have towards each other. Daniel first introduces the crew, making sure people realize, that without everyone partaking, the experience isnt met!
And this is exactly in a way what the first song tries to summarize in my mind.
You guys are the best synergy that is possible through music, because of the friendship.

I experienced actual feelings of extasy at one of his concerts during "everything you know melts away like snow". I don't remember ever having felt such a strong reaction to music. It was total bliss.
Like mushrooms, you can go to the same place, one day you find one song two weeks later, another one pops up..yeah, magical stuff.
The sound engineering in that studio is of another league!

Daniel, thank you for your beautiful music! I just "discovered" yalls music. Sweden holds a special place in my heart from my first visit to friends in 1997 as a young 19 year old. Great artist and band. Watched this performance on KEXP many times and went to see Daniel and band live yesterday at their only show in the Netherlands. Really nice show, and great to see and hear it happen live in front of your eyes.

This is so amazing. Really touched me. It is not incredibly often that I find something that I know I'll be listening to forever, even on KEXP it can be a hit or miss despite the talent involved as to which music will touch me in this way
But this is great. Like the guy on these comments said about mushrooms. They grow and you've thought you've picked them all, only to wake up the next morning to see them in different places
I love End of the road festival. I'd never heard of Daniel before today, just discovered him as he's playing there in late summer. added to my must see list. Just hope he's on The Garden stage.

Daniel; du är min stora idol! Din musik går rakt in i mitt hjärta, och har svårt att beskriva hur jag känner mig när jag hör den. Du gör den musiken som jag instinktivt allra helst vill höra, tror jag. Alabursy gör det lätt för mig att gråta, och du har en sån nyanserad stil på varje platta så det finns ju i stort sätt en skiva för varje humör. Din musik passar bra för en loner som ja. Tack :)

Spot in Emil! It’s pure meditation. I remember Daniel played this song at Tønder Festival in my home country Denmark back in 2019. It was my first meeting with Daniels music, it was 10 pm on a beautiful august evening and I was with my best friend from high school. I was completely spellbound. I often miss those days.. Especially now.

I love how he thinks writing an idea for a song in a book seems pretentious but carrying a bunch of electronics into the woods - totally genuine and natural. But ultimately, when someone is as talented as he is he can do whatever he wants - just keep doing it.
I think I get him. He doesn't go into the woods to be pretentious, it's sort of the opposite. But, talking about it on KEXP is sort of pretentious. He gets away with it though.
Well, it's only pretentious if you don't live up to the image you portray.
