From the moment Dabs came to NY, in his very first press conference, he was different. He commanded the press room where the media and the public knew he was in charge, he had a plan, and he was gracious with the media. He knew how to make that room feel confident in him, and also comfortable in engaging with him all at the same time. He didn't come in like a know it all with no head coaching experience and talked down to the entire room like Judge did. Dabs made his players respect him right out of the gate, and also like him just as much. He's firm but he also shows his love for his players. Not something this group has had in many years. Dabs & Joe Schoen have built a foundation in NY. One that can be built upon. Not to sound selfish here but I really hope the offensive coaches stick around and Daniel Jones can get a second year with this offensive scheme in place because the amount of instability this poor guy has had from the moment he arrived is insane. Now if the NYGs can get a Guard, Center, and a decent WR, they are in business. But back to Dabs....so well deserved and it's the first of what I think will be many in his career. He's built for this city and we look forward to the future!
