- What is ego and how to handle it to become better person is the question asked to Sadhguru JV and he explained it in a straight and simple way. How shall we handle egos and what is the reason behind the egos is the question asked to sadhguru. Kamath said there are organization strictures which becomes like cages and every one want to protect their own position. Kamath also said he don’t want a business answer rather he would like to know the spiritual answer. Sadhguru started saying that lot of people want to blame someone when something nasty happened and they choose ego for that reason. Mister ego comes in only when you are nasty. Human beings are quite oscillating among many quantities and it changes quite frequently between bitterness and happiness. The inner nature is volatile and it is not settled and established in yourself. You need to understand and accept that you are an individual and ego is not different from you and it is a part of it. You are just using ego to pass your buck or if not ego, you use god and say that what ever done, you say that you are taking instructions from god.

He says whatever the situations around you, if you keep your senses in your control and not effected by external influences, you are near to realization.
Sadhguru is a spiritual guide to millions of people around the globe and his way of doing is not to understand spirituality theoretically but experience it with simple but wonderful yoga practices. He says reading hundreds of books won’t make any one spiritual rather it has to be understood with inner experience.
Sadhguru jaggi vasudev is rational and spiritual. He suits well for today’s youth who want answers why shall we do like this why not the other way and his answers and approach more sense and logical so that they comfortably accept the ancient ideas without opposition. Listen to him, it changes many ideas that we have and introduce you all together into a different world. His wisdom is known by self-experience makes many things clear and can keep us calm and serine.

It's not that confusing. Water, air and food work the same way. Too much of anything can be bad for you. What can give life can also take it.

omg that makes so much sense because our souls are made of love and knowledge so we don’t want to accept we do bad things so we just blame it on nothing which creates an “ego” but really we just do those things to learn

So is ego bad to have?
If it is uncontrolled then yes. It is for survival and needed to survive especially at younger ages. However, once older, you must not define yourself in any way as the ego uses self identification as fuel. Let's say you are a scientist. No you are just someone who works in a laboratory on certain days. You may tell other people you are a scientist. But if you habitually make your identity into a scientist then you are your ego. (Any job, any identification). Just deconstruct your activities in order to deconstruct your mind and ego. In every moment you are a different person. Use that advantage to pave a path for the person you'd like to be.
There is no ego. You dont have one because it dosent exsist. You are simply an individual who has the ability to be good or evil. Weather you blame your evil on other people or the ego it dosent matter. You still decided to do what you did.
Let's not make the mistake of confusing ego with pride, your ego keeps your head on the swivel and that makes you highly functional individual in society, whereas pride, just like any other sin can make your life a living hell

Egoistic people are the biggest sufferer because they know dgo is false it can't survive honesty. Hence it remains always afraid.
