Hi Alex, Thank you for an excellent history lesson on Saint Mary parish. I am considering retiring to Port Maria. Would you say that it is a nice place to retire? I visited Ocho Rios last October and fell in love with the island. I did visit the Fleming Villa as you mentioned. I’m looking for a back to nature lifestyle where I can go fishing every day and eat tropical fruits and make plenty of new friends. Love to all Jamaicans ❤

I use to live in Three Hills St Mary, Close to Port Maria.
