Great post family...From Aenon Town to Jackson Bay, beautiful parish! The waters in Salt river and Milk River truly have healing properties, healed my lumber spine after a serious car accident in the 90's..we give thanks!
Clarendon has some surprises, I had no idea about. Before watching this video, I hadn't given Clarendon a second thought. Now, I would really like to see the preserved great house and other bits of the parishes history. (Watching a second time.)
Have so much family history from all over the parish from the bottom all the way to the top thanks for sharing very important information giving thanks 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
Thanks for this video. Parish of my birth went to school there for a short while. Didn't think much about it until I checked my birth certificate and visited the district. Now,you have sparked even more of my interest in this parish.
Hey Alex. Thanks for featuring my parish. The invitation still exists for you to come tour some rich historical culture and ruins from the slavery era over my side with me.
Clarendon bombom parish with everything, longest river ,bauxite, sugar cane, orange fields, bananas industry,,,we need resources back in our parish...blessings forever cdon....
Great historical video, Alexx. That's my parish. A number of my family members use worked at the great house. My 100 year old aunty used to work there. She has an original house that was allocated for workers. Thank you very much for highlighting Clarendon and Halse Hall. We were there last week. Blessings and love always. 🙏
Clarendon is a nice parish but underrated especially northern clarendon with the Bull Head Mths which is said to be the dead centre of Jamaica, accessible by trail or 4WD vehicle
I too would love to know about Claudius Henry ... I believe i have close family connection to the two persons mention above. Plrase feel free to contact me directly.
Plz do westmoreland next. I’m from there n I live in Cayman. I recently found out that cayman was specifically an extension of westmoreland. I always known that Jamaica had jurisdiction over the island at one point but I had no idea that my parish was in charge of it.
Nothing wrong with the song, actually glad it had Indian influenced music in lone with out of many one considering Clarendon has a significant Indians Jamaican population
@@EliteJamaicaYeah but the aim is to highlight the most known industries or monument which would definitely include black river Safari and Lovers leep

Crime is holding back every parish, in fact, the entire country. Do explain why being in close proximity contributes to the "holding back", because there are 3 other parishes that are also close.
Crime is fact yes but look what's going in Manchester with scamming and crime in that parish now Manchester can't size up with Clarendon so I don't get your comment about Manchester holding back Clarendon when was the last time you been to Clarendon May Pen should become a city easily
@chiefydon6175 Yeah but Manchester had a head start .Where as Clarendon was always violent and lack opportunities. Manchester has top universities in affluent environment. Mandeville is the post child for retirement and mansion. Clarendon is not on Manchester level.Remember Manchester is one of the most educated parishes we have, and I could go on .Has close as the parishes are,you can easily tell Manchester people are more affluent and refine.
The parish is gone to the dogs now bro. All our industries are closed down agricultural lands are being used to build houses only taxi operators seems to be left.
Why are we boastfully featuring and highlighting what was going in Halse's head when he was designing his great house aka a symbol of oppression and conquest????????

@duragjulie1182 Title: "Did you know Jamaica ruled the Cayman Islands"
Cayman and Westmoreland use to operate as one sovereignty at one point
Good history, however, when you mentioned Citrus, I was waiting for you to say we also grafted to result, Ugly fruit and Ortaniques
Over by Mr Sharp orange walk?
How about the gold mine in Mt. Hindmost

Why did you highlight Clarendon in orange on the map? Clarendon is a very green place 🌴🌲🌴🌲🐊
The colour on the thumbnail has noting to do with Politics or any other crazy idea you have.
@@EliteJamaica I just asked a question yuh don't have to get too defensive I'm from Rosewell, South East, Clarendon 🇯🇲
Everything good as long as you are not being POLITICAL. Blessings

@namkebanyanklariti why do you want it to be kept as a secret?
@elizabethhall1527 I never said I wanted it to be a secret. Why do Jamaicans emotionally react to what they read and totally missed what is said?
@namkebanyanklariti
Help this Jamaican to see what she missed here.
