I think if we could hear Jason Wade sing every song with his guitar alone, we would hear his stamp on each of those songs. But with layers of music production and arrangment, they take on a different sound. They're just different styles, but they still sound great. If Jason Wade's music never changed, people would get bored really fast and Lifehouse would become obsolete, like all those other bands of their era.
