#19 Victor Connell- Longford Rugby Club and Killoe GAA

Manager at Longford Counselling Service, Victor is one of the most amazing people I will ever have the pleasure to encounter and talk too. I had the honour to share some football memories with Victor which we discuss. In 2005, Victor experienced a sporting accident that changed his life forever. He is so open and honest with me here which I really appreciate it. Victor’s character, strength, attitude and mind-set is just simply incredible and although he does not like the word ‘inspiration’, Victor is just that. To hear his journey, obstacles and the role he is playing in people’s lives today is heroic. Thank you Victor for giving me the time, and for being so open. It was an honour.
