This is profoundly beautiful. Have had two death process experiences and returns to life and what have seen matches what Rinpoche is saying. All these remarkable and beautiful and helpful things form a cooling breeze to advanced medicine is the result of the mind. In fact what I have seen is that it is the result of the mind of our beings in pureland a that create these things. For example, I have a relative in Dewachen who grows jewels of 3 colors. They are wishing jewels. In this world they appear as apples. It's like this appearances of this world is somehow more mundane then what we are actually making in pure lands. If you follow that, then just imagine the flowers in Dewachen. The birds in Dewachen. The pools in Dewachen. The sky in Dewachen. All of these are as they really are there. Please wish to go to Dewachen. Everyone is safe and happy there and you can continue your work to benefit beings without burden. All merit to Zopa Rinpoche
I have never had a natural near-death experience, but I have had the fortune of being able to induce the experiences via DMT. The more I am able to rid myself of guilt and see clearly, I can now accept that inheriting this information is my karma, because I am finally ready to help all beings (though some rest in pure land will be very nice and welcome). Comparing the stories I have heard from friends who have had near-death experiences, my own experiences and Tibetan Buddhist wisdom; the overlap is astounding. This is the truth, we have been to "ultimate reality" and we know this is true. We are so lucky that we not only have the Buddha, but 2500 years of continued study at our disposal and our karma to guide us to this wisdom; we are so fortunate!! If you would like, I would love to learn from you. I chant Om Mani Padme Hum, and I try to do right for my mind and those I meet, but I would love to have any advice or information you would share. Do you remember the feeling when you could see so clearly that you were home with all your friends and family? It makes me want to cry to remember it. Bless you my true, true friend.
