Those half dozen big buildings is Houston Texas? You call that a city? I thought everything was bigger in Texas. I guess I'm spoiled growing up with the NYC skyline from my bedroom window. Houston would fit in one window pane.
That was the skyline in the early 90s. Also, Houston has four business districts spread out in its metropolitan area that each would fit the bill for a large down area in any other large city. Downtown, Energy corridor, greenway plaza, the medical center and the woodlands. Our medical center alone has more office square footage than all of Dallas’ downtown. We’re not on an island like Manhattan moron!
The ENTIRE state of New York would fit inside of HARRIS COUNTY, lol. It takes an hour and a half to drive from Katy to Galveston. Little tiny NYC would get swallowed up.
