You certainly wouldn't see a record store owner today get arrested for selling a Cardi B or Megan Thee Stallion album and their song lyrics are just as explicit.

This is Tommy Harris. I first worked with him at #5 in East Liberty. He had an odd way of handling situations but he was compassionate street-wise cop. Years later when I was the COP supervisor #7 Station South Side, Tommy worked for me and walked a beat in Beltzhoover.

The first chase was in Larimar where Eddie tackled a dealer and got sliced pretty good from the broken glass on the pavement and he was immediately transported to Wilkinsburg Hospital ER. Eddie held his bleeding hand outside the car while being driven to the ER. His blood stained into the paint on that door forever. The second part was in Homewood, where Detective Ray Kain dislocated his finger when reaching to subdue the resisting dealer. Bill Botcher who was lightning the mod later became the Chief. Great memories and miss the work and the people so much.

I remember this episode very well being that Philly is my hometown. They shot this a few months after graduated from high school in '92. I later found out that the dudes (Stink Man and his brother Fred) that beat up that guy are now dead but not from him. They was from down 23rd and Jefferson in North Philly.
