These two characters represent arguably two different metas that both absolutely had to get nerfed for the game to survive.
That awkward handshake at the beginning was a perfect start.

But jeondding (has a pocket Julia but he slaughtered Meo-il's *Geese* with eddy, and chose eddy for *Arslan Ash* too, and eddy is way worse than kazuya), eyemusician (full yoshi specialist), lmyourfather (Lee specialist), puma and majin (King specialists), pinya (master raven specialist), arslan ash (zafina loyalist), sephiblack (Miguel specialist), anakin (jack-7 specialist, even agaist arslan like jeondding in ceo 2021). All of these, except lee, king, master raven and zafina are way worse than kazuya and Lee, king, master raven and zafina are both on the same tier (high end of mid tier) and way more interesting than kazuya. Heihachi has his loyalists (jdcr famously) and so does Devil Jin (or used to? Idk any dvj mains tbh), the problem is that neither is kazuya low tier enough to be the underdog nor is he interesting gameplay wise compared to other mishimas. He doesn't inspire loyalty I guess.
I have no clue why we don't see more Bryans. I guess it's because Taunt cancels are hard and not rewarding enough. Kinda the reason only super akouma sticks with akuma (and drops combos a lot lol) while everyone else has moved on to Geese.

It's an OK Akuma honestly. If you want to see the most broken version of akuma get your hands on SVC chaos (SNK VS CAPCOM Choas) and get a taste of THE MURDER WAVE akuma then you'll understand why I'm glazing him

One thing I only noticed by the announcer's was they only rooting for leroy (american). Unfair it is.
