    Captain Steve great video as always. Another great plant is fire berry because it processes 1:1 to fire water. It can be found in loads on hot planets and each harvest yields 5 berries (which in turn processes to 5 fire water 1:1) Before scrapping ships and derelict freighters it was my go to nanite method. You can make around 3,500 nanites for every 10 fire berry plants feeding fireberrry to Cronus.

    a method for those that prefer a more... sinister route...
    1.empty as many inventory slots of possible.
    2.go to the space anomaly and make sure you have some tritium in your inventory.
    3.buy as many of the upgrades from the guy you give milestone data, best off buying the most expensive one.
    4.transfer someone 1 tritium to force a game save.
    5.reload the auto save from getting out of your ship.
    6.get back into your ship and immediately get out (force a game save) run back and sell the modules, and buy and buy even more.
    7.go back to step #4 and continue from there.
    enjoy!

    Just did a large amount. I averaged 49 nanites per tonic. I think they nerfed him a bit. But still you'll average around 20,000 an hour of feeding them to him. So what I did was since it's so easily repetitive is just make a ton and watch your videos on another screen while I press the buttons over and over. :)

      you can also build a base near the molds with refineries and then search the horizon for another set of molds nearby, and run over there and build another base. and this way you can just run back and forth between two sets of molds. the first set of molds will reset by the time you run back. this requires a specific minimum distance between the two molds though. but it's doable and very profitting.

    Nice little way to do it, if you dont want to farm tainted meal, they have a 1:2 conversion rate, a stack of 9999 tainted metal can net you 19998 Nanites. If you're happy to dupe glitch, then that could potentially be all the nanites you ever need.

    Maybe it is just me but the plant clusters on the planets seem bigger and more often than I recall but hey, if you want more just plant 4 trays of 4 or more as you desire, lets say you plant 3 then it is an hour of work approx... I mean the buying and scrapping alien S class ships seems a bit better or you could do what feels like cheating but it works in theory never tried and that is buying lame modules on the Nexus, giving away an item to a player, then reload the save from landing and sell the modules that did not go poof for profit. It pays out about 14k every few minutes if you have enough money to buy the 96 C-class modules that cost the most. I mean the selling s-class exotics seems like fun but cheating seems to work as well, search for like 425,000 Nanites an hour and let an expert explain it better than me. Still thanks for this video, everyone should find what works for them.

    I go to a planet with a tonne of fauna. Call in my Minotaur and engage in some wholesale slaughter. Then turn all the meat into mystery stew or goop. Just wish the guy could eat a bit quicker. Never short of nanites.
    I just discovered my Exotic ship can continually be upgraded with salvaged ship modules. That's kind of awesome. My ship stats are insane.
    If you see the Exotic ship Flash Gordon on xbox, give me a wave.

    Good idea, NOT the best execution = not the best value for time spent = less nanites that one COULD get. There's the PROPER way, and it's called *Delicious Vegetable Stew*. Yeah, there are better foods in terms of potential nanite value, but this one is the BEST in terms of efforts vs return. So DVS it is, and the trick is - you can do this extremely EARLY game, basically as long as you have access to Anomaly.
    The absolute MUST is of course to unlock the cooker and at least medium refiner, which is (along with solar panel and battery) should be well within 30ish Salvaged Data. The latter is trivial to gather by all means. Then you fly back to that shack of a base you have anyways as a part of the initial quest line, and you plomp there at least ONE medium (or large) refiner and ONE cooker, but better FOUR cookers - they're literally made from sh*t and sticks, the mats and parts you learn from the very start of the game. That done, you fly to ANY space station or trade station (or you can build trade terminal inside your base for extra salvaged data to unlock the blueprint). In any case, you have access to mats, and all you need is 401 of EITHER Ammonia, Phosphorus or Uranium (that will cost you about 25K units give or take, depending on current price fluctuations) - ANY of these 3 will do perfectly with the same amazing result. The trick is in NMS you do NOT need farm / planter to get at least SOME plants for cooking, including those to cook DVS - you can just REFINE them!
    So put all 401 mats you got in refiner and add just ONE oxygen, yeah, ONLY one - this is important! Start the refining and you'll get ONE plant as output: Uranium >> Gamma Root | Ammonia >> Fungal Mould | Phosphorus >> Solanium - at 2:1 ratio. Then, put the plant you refined back into INPUT where that one oxygen was - and continue 1:1 conversion until you get 400 plants. YEAH, you just did some magic - plant matter out of minerals!..
    Now, cooker time. ANY of the plants you just created will need the SAME treatment / steps - and with the same result. Step 1: convert all 400 plants at 1:1 ratio into respective nutrient in cooker (e.g. Gamma Root >> Sievert Beans). I recommend using Ingredient Storage for this part, since your inventory space is VERY limited at the moment. Step 2: 200 of nutrient should be COMBINED into Fibrous Stew, e.g. Sievert Beans + Sievert Beans → Fibrous Stew - to do this, you put 50 in one input slot, and another 50 in another slot. In the end you'll have 100 Fibrous Stew. Step 3: another 200 of nutrient you convert 1:1 like this, e.g. Sievert Beans → Steamed Vegetables, to get 200 of St. Veg. total. Step 4: another 2:1 COMBINE conversion: Steamed Vegetables + Steamed Vegetables → Flavoursome Sauce - to get 100 Fl. S. total. Finally, Step 5 - another COMBINE: Fibrous Stew x100 + Flavoursome Sauce x100 → Delicious Vegetable Stew x100. That's it!..
    Fly to Anomaly and handle your cooking to Melon head. These 100 DVS will give you 9800...10000 nanites on average, and this is VERY accurate average. So isn't it TOO MUCH hassle? Yes IT IS, BUT!!! We're talking here VERY early game, basically the start of a GAME past short "struggle & kinda survive" stage - and 10K nanites at this stage will make an EXTREME difference. This is my GO TO kick off way every new save I start, since OF COURSE there are other ways to get nanites later on, but this one being a bit tedious does NOT require ANYTHING but VERY basic tech, 25K units (which is honestly nothing in this game, less than a change), NO hi-end gear, NO fancy pancy tech, NO S-class ship, NO nonsense. SOLID 200% guaranteed result with a bit of a clickitty click click. Later on in the game I do the whole procedure in batches of 1600 plants >> 400 DVS >> 40K nanites. Hope that helps, and God Speed Travelers! =)

    The worst part is always handing in the food to Cronus one at a time. For that reason, you want one of the dishes that gives the maximum nanites. This is much more important than the starting materials or time in the nutrient processor. Pilgrim Tonic is only 60% of maximum, and thus a poor choice compared to Delicious Vegetable Stew.
    I won’t even turn in Fibrous Stew, which is 80% of Vegetable Stew. Vegetable Stew requires twice the materials and 3x the processing time, but the time saved with Cronus still makes it worthwhile. Handing in 530 items to get enough nanites for a ship upgrade is mind numbing, but it’s 660 for Fibrous Stew and 890 for Pilgrim Tonic.

    Well I looked at this to see if it's any better than scrapping ships, but I don't really see the appeal besides using some material that would otherwise be worthless. in 20m you can get a ton more A/S class ships in a wealthy system, and a ton of alpha modules to sell for 3-500 nanites. Plus when you get an S class and upgrade the storage you get millions back in credits as well so cooking for hours and then turning it in one by one for a lousy 8k nanites seems a bit underwhelming.
    Thanks for sharing it though, this was new knowledge to me.

    Good mechanic to know, but how tedious. I would suggest just walking around on planets looking for "Curious Deposits". Set up a base. do the same on one or two other locations or planets. Teleport from one to another and harvest the Runaway Mold. You should get about 8000-9999 of the Mold. Stuff it into your personal refiner and it will create 1700-2000 nanites. In the mean time, do something else rather than run around in circles in your base.

      Is it with Glitches ?

    • @sdfny
      @sdfny 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      yesiirrr you need a hauler and a lot of inventory space step 1 locate an abandoned building and collect larval cores step 2 craft a portable refiner and put larval cores inside once you do that don’t refine it or anything place as many refiners on top of that one refiner as possible and then break them all that’ll duplicate the larval cores step three refine those larval cores you wanna refine them until You have as many nanites as you want then place the nanites in the left side of the refiner and repeat that process you can walk away with 100k after duplicating those nanites

    • @sdfny
      @sdfny 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      the reason i say You need a hauler is so that the refiners can be placed in it while you glitch the nanites and or larval cores and this glitch method works with any anytime even technology upgrades
