No matter the niyyah, if it has instruments, it is haram. Clear cut rule. Also try not to watch movies as aside from music they can also include uncovered people, shirk, magic, kissing (and other stuff that may lead to temptation) and the list goes on. So please try to leave it for the sake of Allah! Allah yahdina ameen

I just don’t understand why musical instruments hare haram. For example, when I was a kid I used to enjoy the Arabic openings of anime on Spacetoon. They also were not using bad speech. In fact, it was quite the opposite, a speech full of energy and positive vibes.
You tell me that in The sunnah it was said to be Haram but the prophet peace be upon him did not say so in his tongue and about the verse in Surah Luqman, لهو الحديث could even be vain speech or backstabbing etc.
To conclude, I am sorry but I’m not yet convinced about the story of music being 100% haram as it is not mentioned plainly in the Quran as the other Muharamat.
P.S : I am truly against the excessive use of music like you said 24/7 but I don’t see the harm in putting from time to time some relaxing beats and it does not replace listening to the Quran.
One last point, if music was 100% Haram then how can we celebrate birthdays, mariage or any other occasion of happiness ?

But there are some who employ theatrics,1 only to lead others away from Allah’s Way-without any knowledge-and to make a mockery of it. They will suffer a humiliating punishment.

And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."
Yeah... not a lot of excuses anyone can make. It's pretty clear unless you think you are better than the Sahaba and your feelings are more important than what Allah commands.

Theres two types of singing afaik, one is with deliberate rhythm/pitch, another is natural like in recited arabic poetry. I heard the former is haram the latter is ok, from ustadh Abdurrahman Hassan from AMAU. Idrk if theres valid ikhtilaf about it tbh.
Btw, idk if its accurate to say that Daeef means inauthentic. What i know is it means weak. Pls let me know if it also means ghayr saheeh

If there is something I need to say is: Stop decieving yourself before others. For people who use evidence from the Quran or Sunnah that music is permissible, 1-While it is okay for Duff and Nasheed, it is only permissible at certain times and events
2-You know deep down that music is haram so you're only decieving yourself and others
3-The ONLY way to stop hearing music is to memorize Quran and take this from me, even if I suddenly hear a song and emerge in it I only do that for a couple of seconds and my herat before mind rejects it, and in 99% of cases I immediatly put my fingers on my ear

Asalam Alaikum. Your best solution is duaa. Wallahi duaa can fix your problems overnight. Make tahajjud in the middle of the night, and ask Allah سبحانه وتعالى deeply from your heart to fix your problems. Complain to him, ask for his mercy, and his aid. Make duaa with conviction and with certainty that Allah can fix your life and give you the happiness you desire. May Allah grant you peace in both worlds, and reward you for your patience on these struggles
Assalamu alaikum, so you say songs without instrumentals is also haram because of the bad words. But what if it’s good words. For example, ‘What a wonderful world’ by Louis Armstrong. Is this song okay without instrumental? And what if it’s not instruments used to make the song, for example snapping fingers or just random sounds around the house.

Please read the explanation of the Hadith before mentioning it as evidence that music is halal. You are not the first person to find this Hadith. The scholars have said music is haram while knowing this Hadith exists, and alhamdulilah there’s no contradiction between them.

Brother, I have some questions about Islam:
1.
Why did Muhammad have so many marriages? He even claims to see Jannat and its Hoor's. If he saw Hoor then what was the need to be criticized by marrying so many in the Earthly life? Many say for political reasons. But there were many other options.
2.
Why did Prophet Muhammad marry Hazrat Ayesha (RA) in 6 years? You currently notice what a 53-year-old and 6-year-old couple would look like. And why would the creator give such a terrible instruction to a prophet? This is unacceptable brother.
3.
Did Almighty Allah write revelations like Hazrat Abdullah ibn Saad( author of the revelation)? When Prophet Muhammad finished giving the revelation, then Abdullah Ibn Saad said something, why did Prophet Muhammad ask him to add what Abdullah Ibn saad said? Not only this but also some of the words of Hazrat Umar (ra) that Allah liked, later they came as revelations and were added to the Qur'an. Well, God liked the words of Umar (RA) but why did Abdullah Ibn Saad's words be added to the revelation? Does Allah not know that after He sends His revelation, His servant will say something better than this and it will be included in His words?
I am very skeptical. By giving correct and appropriate answers, doubts can be removed from my mind. thank you
1. All of the prophets ﷺ wives, with the exception of Aisha may Allah be pleased with all of them, were not virgins. If the prophet ﷺ purely wanted pleasure in this world by marrying women, he wouldn’t have married the women he already married, as many of them were old in age, and divorced. So the prophet ﷺ was not obsessed with marrying women due to lust, and if he was, then why did he not accept the offer of Quraysh before making hijrah, when they offered him all the money and all the women and all the leadership of quraysh just to give up the Dawah to Islam?
2. Aisha may Allah be pleased with her was 9 years old when the marriage was consummated, and she had reached the age of puberty, meaning she is a women. Get the western view of age of consent out of your head. Islamically you can get married at any age as long as your physically mature, i.e you have hit puberty. And this was very common for women at the time to hit puberty at the age of 9. Imam Malik, one of the 4 imams, lived at Medina, and used to see many women, specifically from the tribe of Tuhama hit puberty at that age, so it was very common. Secondly, the matter of the prophet ﷺ marriage to Aisha was a matter of revelation. Allah showed him this in a dream multiple times, so it wasn’t based on the prophet’s ﷺ desire to marry her, he did it to follow a command of Allah. Thirdly, 9 year olds then are different to 9 year olds now. Nowadays 9 year old girls don’t hit puberty, go to school, watch cartoons, and don’t know anything about married life. Back then girls were raised on being ready for marriage early on, and they understood that they had responsibilities as women, and their overall mentalities were different, especially that of our mother Aisha may Allah be pleased with her. She had an excellent memory, and she was extremely smart, and there was immense benefit in her marriage to the prophet, as she is one of the companions who narrated the most number of narrations to us, which helped us in applying the law of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala and the sunnah of the prophet ﷺ. Additionally, look at the cases of child abuse when it comes to pedophilia. Read what the abused women always say. The have immense hatred towards thr men that abused them, and hate to bring up their name, and grow up finding it difficult to deal with men and raise children. Our mother Aisha used to spread the sunnah of the prophet ﷺ long after his death, and speaking about his manners and reviving his sunnah whenever she could. She used to speak about her love to the prophet ﷺ, and used to read the Quran frequently. You think someone who was taken advantage of would do such a thing?
3. I don’t know anything about Abdullah ibn saad, nor do I care. The Quran is perfectly preserved from cover to cover alhamdulilah. You realize that if anyone tried to alter the Quran or add a verse or change the Quran in any way shape of form we would catch on to it in seconds? The book of Allah is not only preserved in book form, it was memorized by the companions of the prophet, and to this day people memorize it. It’s impossible to try to change anything without people noticing. S
Finally my general advice to you, stop watching David wood, Christian prince, and all these deviant disbelievers. The both of us are not people of knowledge. We have weak hearts. If we listen to a shubuha (doubt) from somebody we may be lead to doubt our religion and accept it as truth, simply because we don’t have any knowledge. Rather you should stay away from these things, and seek knowledge and understanding from the scholars. Don’t listen to what kuffar say about Islamic things, because they will only speak with evil intentions and incorrect understanding of the texts. And rest assured that with the scholars of Islam, and the knowledge that our scholars have accumulated over the course of a millennium, there is a satisfying response to every doubt that exists. Trust me when I say every doubt. You are not the first one to have these doubts. Thousands, if not millions, have had these questions, and there are answers. May Allah aid us on gaining beneficial knowledge and staying away from misguidance.

In fact, I have not been able to have physical and mental peace for a long time. My life is messed up. I don't sleep well. I prayed a lot to Allah to fix them but nothing is getting right. I always have thoughts of suicide. But I hope that tomorrow or the day after tomorrow it will be alright. but no! Then I think that there is no creator of this world, it seems that they all are Running without a creator even if there is a creator, Allah is not the creator. Because I am not getting anything from Allah. Sometimes I think it seems like some invisible evil force & Black magic is doing these things to me. But why are they not being fixed even after asking Allah Almighty from him? And there are many contradictory things in Islam, such as I mentioned 3 above, even thinking about them, doubt comes to mind. I am still very hopeful that one day everything will be alright. And I seek God every day. pray for me brother.
