Where are the bees - Adventures in Beekeeping

It is July 15, 2024 and I put my honey harvest equipment out on the driveway for the bees to clean up the remaining honey. However there are no bees working on the cleanup project and there have not been any bees all afternoon. What is going on!!!
For you non-beekeepers out there this is something that beekeepers do. They put honey covered bee harvesting and extracting equipment out for the bees to clean up. Usually there are a lot of bees come to take advantage of the free honey. It normally only takes a few minutes for the first bees to show up and soon they return to the hive and bring all their sisters.
