This joke got so perfectly adopted, I honestly find it hard to believe it wasn't planned. Are you really telling me the defining bit of the ENTIRE campaign just came from Siobhan not thinking of an actual fakename.
Wait so, Imelda Pulse is ACTUALLY Joanne Fakename (with no 'A'). However, she sometimes pretends to be Stacy Fakename, who she is not. The real Stacy Fakename exists and is a separate non-player character with a sister named Joanna Fakename (with an 'A'), who will never enter Fucks' establishment.
I love how this bit could've ended in the first episode if Trapp just said "that's such an obvious lie" but he riffed off it so well with Joanna Fakename
just noticed that ivana saying she's heard the name stacy fakename before could be from when Hunch used the name is the ring, but even crazier is that she knows that name because it's flight's real name.
Honestly, stacy fakename is a DMs dream. Brennan doesn't need to remember ANY interaction, any random name, he doesn't need to remember the 18 different people who all got different names given to them, everyone's fake name is just stacy fakename.

Considering that English is a language of loan words, world spread nuance and constant re-definition occurring likely more frequently than in any other language, it's par for the course that new ways of expressing in English are introduced all the time. English isn't my first language either, though it is my primary one, and I both marvel at, and get confused by the constant nuances of expressions and words, and even inflection of speech making it incredibly difficult to make a clear line between "this is a rough translation" and "this is just not *common* English." Expressions in any language are also difficult, even if not requiring language to think.

This series was just brilliant. I've been trying to watch other D20 seasons but I've never been able to get past the first episode or so. Nothing has hooked me quite like Mentopolis.
It would have been better if Danielle had said that she was Joanne Fakename and then they had all just assumed the identities of different members of the Fakename family
