Crystal clear, as Bp. Sanborn always is.

No, Sanborn makes nuances that don’t exist. If someone is only condemned for culpably not having the faith then we shouldn’t evangelize anybody in the chance that they reject the faith and condemn themselves. We should just tell them to be as best as they can be. No, a person who wishes to be saved MUST know JESUS CHRIST, his incarnation and believe in the Holy Trinity in order to have the Catholic faith and be saved, besides being WATER BAPTIZED… Nobody can be saved in ignorance. That’s the Athanasian Creed & Council of Florence.
Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, Sess. 8, Nov. 22, 1439, ex cathedra: “Whoever WISHES to be saved, needs above all to hold the CATHOLIC FAITH; unless EACH ONE PRESERVES this WHOLE and INVIOLATE, he will without a doubt PERISH IN ETERNITY. But the Catholic faith is this, that we worship ONE GOD IN THE TRINITY, and the TRINITY IN UNITY; neither confounding the persons, nor dividing the substance… Therefore let him who WISHES TO BE SAVED, think thus concerning the TRINITY. But it is NECESSARY for ETERNAL SALVATION that he FAITHFULLY BELIEVE also in the INCARNATION of OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST…the Son of God is God and man…THIS IS THE CATHOLIC FAITH; UNLESS EACH ONE BELIEVES THIS FAITHFULLY AND FIRMLY, HE CANNOT BE SAVED…”
An ignorant pagan on an island cannot go to heaven without knowing this.
Also, he forgot to mention that Pope St. Siricius, St. Gregory of Nazianzus, Pope St. Leo the Great among others denied Baptism of Desire/Blood. Saints & Church Fathers are NOT the magisterium. The magisterium has never taught it.

Sanborn is a heretic. "Baptism of desire" does not exist because Trent never defined that desire alone justified. Would you like to debate Trent Session 6 chapters 1-8? Or are you just blindly promoting heresies of Sanborn because you don't know any better?

Catechism of the Council of Trent
On adults, however, the Church has not been accustomed to confer the Sacrament of Baptism at once, but has ordained that it be deferred for a certain time. The delay is not attended with the same danger as in the case of infants, which we have already mentioned; should any unforeseen accident make it impossible for adults to be washed in the salutary waters, their intention and determination to receive Baptism and their repentance for past sins, will avail them to grace and righteousness.
