I absolutely love this channel. I lived in the OC area for many years and your videos always bring fond memories. Plus a nice beat! And.. 4x speed which is quite satisfying!
It's been some times AP. LA aera has such pretty incredible freeways, I do have several in my head rn too. Hope you had great holydays too & merry belated Christmas too
I live in the Bay Area but nothing compares to the LA area freeways in the country. It is the most impressive in the US. Only our bridges are more impressive in terms of driving on it.
As a veteran of often-congested L.A. freeway driving, some of those sudden stops were just a little TOO close for comfort (such as at 4:15, for example). Instead of continuing on the 134 to the 170, you could have taken the 210 via La Cañada Flintridge to the 5. That portion of the 210 is a little more scenic than the 134/170 route.
The footage has been sped up, it wouldn't have looked that dramatic at real time. You're right that following the 210 would have been more direct, and probably more scenic. There is a video forthcoming that follows that leg of the 210. Thanks for the comment.
Was California state route 57 planned to continue south of where it currently ends at the interstate 5/22 interchange in Orange ? Why wasn’t California state route 57 extended further south to California state route 1 in Huntington Beach?
Good thing you bypassed L.A. by taking the 57 and 210 freeways because I-5 in L.A. County is so outdated, congested, and needs to be as wide as the one in Orange County. Well, between the 91 and 710 freeways.

Merry Christmas to you too.
Nice soundtrack as well!
Nice work! most LA freeways always seem to have really nice views of the valley

Going north before you get to SR 60 you get good views of Mt Baldy and Mt Baden Powell, which are 2 of the highest peaks in the San Gabriel Mountains.
Epic Video!

Nah. Not bypassed L.A. and more. /
La freeways are impressive!
They sure are.
Also how would you compare LA freeways with in Phoenix?
Cool 😎
My old stomping grounds of Orange County. How it has changed over the years.
