I enjoy all of your videos, but I'm especially enjoying this series because it's in my own backyard. After living in St. Pete for the past 46 years, I'm realizing just how much of my own area I've never visited, and you've highlighted a few places I'd never heard of (the glassblowing demonstration is now on our to-do list). There is no doubt a TON of stuff to do and see here, but it looks like you've found some of the best. Bodega has long been our go-to lunch spot when we're downtown. Their food and drinks are amazing! I was so happy to see you chose it to try out.

You nailed a challenge we have wherever we go: what to see, do, and eat! We frequently check in with the local visitors bureau (which BTW is a great tip even if you live somewhere), and then ask locals, read blogs, etc. So glad that we could even surprise and delight a local like you with new ideas! 👍 -Howard

Thanks for the video. Amazing talent those glass blowers have. I loved the look of the Cuban sandwich, no good Cuban sandwiches here in Northern California.

What a fun video as always! We have a glassblowing factory here in KY and they let you do the glassblowing yourself to make a Christmas ornament It turned out great even for a confirmed non-artist like myself. Loved Howard’s Ghost comment! 😂 Such a moving story about Chef Robert. 💜

Looking forward to hearing more stories on the chief and it was nice learning of the distillery and hand sanitizer. Thus whole video was great. Thank you so much! This episode was chock full of goodness! Howard did pretty well with the wheel throwing. I’ve taken a few classes, it’s challenging. If you don’t know already, you may enjoy The Zest podcast. It’s all about food in FL, mostly the Tampa area. I also like Wait Five Minutes podcast, which is about FL history, people, places. Thanks for the good suggestions! Still hope to make it to the Dali for the Van Gogh installation. ✌🏻

Today I accompanied. friend to an Eel farm not far from both our homes. My friend is 5 years older than I am and a'native' from here. Me, as an import, had to show her the way through such gorgeous typical Dutch landscape and to this Eel farm which she never visited or knew was there. It goes to show- there is so much to see and discover close to home. Your video today illustrated so many enjoyable. educational and fun stuff to do. I wonder how many locals have tread those paths before you? Oh if you are making a list of things to visit while in the Netherland, check out Leerdam Glass. www.nationaalglasmuseum.nl/ Another enjoyable video experience. Thanks. 👍🎥🌷🙋‍♀️

Wow!! An eel farm sounds super cool! And you're so right... There's often a lot to explore in your own backyard. We've gotten a lot of comments, particularly on the Jacksonville series and this one, from people saying they had no idea about some of these activities! We love helping to open their eyes! 😍♥️ -Katelyn
