This is one of my favorite scene I've posted in the past.
Because it looked like Momotaro kissed Kintaro with his face close to him.
Kintaro loves Momotaro, but when Momotaro suddenly approaches aggressively, he gets a little nervous.
I want everyone to enjoy the affectionate scenes of Momotaro and his two sons.
⚠️ Due to the spread of COVID-19, Kyoto City Zoo will be closed from April 25th to May 31st.
(The closed period may be extended)

⭐️モモタロウ Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
momotaro was born at Ueno zoo in Tokyo on jul.3,2000 and came to our zoo on Oct.18,2010.
He is beautiful and handsome ,the silverback of our troop.
He is a little timid,and scared of new things.
He sometimes shows lovely behaviors that melt our hearts.
He is making efforts to be a good dad for his two sons.
⭐️ゲンキ Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Genki was born at our zoo on Jun,24,1986.
After mating with several males without a pregnancy she found her perfect partner Momotaro.
Now she is a loving and caring mom for her two sons.
She sometimes behaves boldly,yet she can also be sensitive.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️ゲンタロウ Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at our zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
Everyone immediately agrees that he is a very adorable boy.
⭐️キンタロウ Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at our zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.
He love to play by himself,with his father.
He is still small, but smart and strong-willed.
His cute appearance and behavior attract everyone's interest.

I haven’t enjoyed anything more than watching this family of gorillas interact with one another.. it’s the most precious I’ve seen.

This little baby wants so much to interact with Dad! But he’s careful as are the mothers whose body language is ever alert to the possible reactions of the male. But the little one even imitates the chest drumming! “ Hey Dad, look at me! I’m just like you!” I also think there is reticence from The make because possibly this little chap might grow up to be competition in thier world? So much to see here! Xx

Kintaro was probably nervous because of the unpredictable behavior of Momotaro. That looked more like an impulsive swipe at the side of Kintaro's head than a loving pat or gentle rubbing of his head.

It's hard not to be touched by these large and gentle primates. I'm certain we humans could not have evolved from this particular species of primate. If gorillas do to each other as humans do, they would have long been extinct. Thanks for sharing.

I can't enjoy this video knowing they're locked up in this small space . poor animals should be free the way nature intended . I remember being locked at home covid time and I felt like I was going to lose my mind , I can't imagine what it's like for them 💔

I know. It hurts, doesn’t it? I don’t know what the solution is either, because unless humans straighten themselves out, zoos like this will be the only hope gorillas have of surviving. Their habitat is so tenuous, and the fighting in Rwanda in 1994 nearly wiped out the entire population.
