    How's the Trackstar 2100kv motor holding up? Thoughts? Long term review video coming eventually? Thanks! Awesome vids

      Thanks for the comment! I have actually moved in to a HW 1900 motor, its just more consistent for my driving style. The Trackstar had too much punch and ended up doing more bad than good. But if you can hang onto it in the corners its a great motor!

    5:40 but is it tighter? the only thing on the old one i see sticking out further is the receiver box. other than that the difference only looks like plastic.
    7:30 uhmmm doesnt the chassis hit the ground before it gets to full compression???

    • @SuperFastRc
      @SuperFastRc  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it is tighter, the driveline has been moved to centerline. Also the side guards are narrower. The bumpers help limit full compression. But yes it will still slap just not as hard.

    Great video! When adjusting the length of the shock limiters which side did you cut?

    • @SuperFastRc
      @SuperFastRc  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So i put the more open end up towards the shock body. The tight side of the bumper towards the rod end.
      3 bumps up front and 4 bumps out back

    Why is the narrower chassis better for aggressive driving? I consider my style very aggressive and if this chassis helps I may have to get one!

    • @SuperFastRc
      @SuperFastRc  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you are right about the narrow chassis. If you want less aggressive the K-Car is a better platform. But this one can be tame as well. All in how you drive it.

    Hi, I just got my self an RC8b4e, after almost 10 years without touching an rc car, must say very satisfied with the performance, durability and handling of the car. A beast at his best. One small concern that I have is the running time. Sometimes struggling to finish some events longer than 10/15 minutes. Currently using x2 6000mah 140C allowing me to get between 11 to 13 minutes, all parts from kit, hardpack with dust. What kind of battery packs are you running in yours? What timings are you getting with yours and which one would you suggest to increase this time, if possible. Thank in advance ✌🏻

      Im running the Geoneng GNB 6500 shorty packs. But our qualifiers are 5 minutes and mains are 10 minutes. Depending on how your race program is ran you may try running the full brick 4s setup with a truggy battery tray. Then you would be able to stack like a 7500 in there. But should be able to get 15 minutes with a good set of 6400 to 6500 short packs.

    Chris, would you recommend this kit the rc8b4 over the rc8b3.2? The b3.2 is on sale for half price of the b4 kit. Just trying to justify the price difference.

    • @SuperFastRc

      Lol! As I’m uploading my RC8B3.2 Unboxing 🤣
      Go with the B3.2 and use coupon code weareae at checkout

    Hey bud, just getting into racing and got the Hb etruggy and want to get a buggy now … but is it a mistake to get a pillow ball buggy cause I like this car…Or should I stick with universal steering… I think I’m looking to hard into it… I ant no mayfield.

    • @SuperFastRc
      @SuperFastRc  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! I have ran both styles, here is the takeaway. Pivot ball cars can be more aggressive in the corners ( More on power steering and more likely to oversteer ) Chub cars are generally less aggressive less on power steering more likely to push ( understeer ) both cars can be tuned to drive really well. Durability i think the pivot ball cars are more durable, less parts to break in the front end. Buggy will be more of a handful either way vs truggy, but also very rewarding when you get it right! Get whatever you can get parts for locally. Both great cars!

    hi there, do you set "drag Break " on Esc

    • @SuperFastRc
      @SuperFastRc  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes you will need a program card, then it will allow you to set the drag brake. Not sure if you can do it from the button or remote. I know you can do it from the program card

      Yeah, i was definitely hesitant at first. But after thinking about it my 1/10 scale tekno uses shorties as well so i can share them between all my cars. Depends on what you run i guess 🤷‍♂️

      I have a Trackstar 2150kv sensored hook3d up to a HW XR8 SCT pro ESC in a EB48.4 and it RIPS. It really good for its price and Iv ran it for over a year hard. Don't bash it if you never used one.
